Head and body markings still reset on porting

Crown Store bought Head and Body Markings still reset to "none selected" when porting between Wayshrines and can happen upon entering or exiting i.e. a Fence. This is on a Vamp, I may add.

unwoman✭✭WHY is this STILL happening? Ever since the option of head markings became available in the crown store they have not been permanent on your character. They keep resetting after every port.
At one point it was semi fixed except when porting into a dungeon but after Morrowind BACK TO BEING FULLY BROKEN!
Please get this fully fixed. We didn't spend money on our characters appearances to have to work at ensuring they stay looking that way.1 -

✭One fairly consistent way to replicate this is to enter the Riften Fence being a Vampire and using i.e. the Golden makeup. Every time I exit, the checkmark is gone on the Head Marking icon/preview in the Head Markings menu.
Clicking it once produces a sound as to have unselected it, nothing is seen as there is no checkmark to begin with though.
