New Type of in-game Trolling?

I was never big into the Thieves Guild thing, but recently realized how much gold I can make selling off stolen items. I'm not talking just the Thrones and Skooma Bubbler plans, I got bored with that quickly. I do Kari's Tip Board for the rewards---I do get plenty of Pardon Edicts and sometimes even a motif. I'll get to the point. People are running up and immediately using Blade of Woe on my targets when there are plenty of other targets around for them to kill. Said targets are not on the hit list so that can't be it. I suspect they are just trolling, trying to mess with people. My guildmates were trying to score the coffin plan off a vampire and a player camped there and killed the vamp everytime she spawned in. Not cool. Anyone else seeing this?

This isn't really that much different than people racing you to jack the node you were going to, is it?

Players can be Jerks some times. Sorry this happens to you.

Pretty sure they are doing the same farm as you just with murder.

Could be someone that can't pickpocket worth a flip and decided one chance at a decent drop is better than none.

When I was going for the a throne I had someone running the same circle just killing. I asked them if I could pickpocket first then leave the killing to them and they agreed. That worked until others showed up.

Then again could be a troll. The ratio of troll/decent player seems to skew in the troll favor sometimes.

Some do troll like that. I was in Mournhold doing a pickpocket quest for Thieves Guild and some player started following me and killing every NPC I was trying to pickpocket. I even ran to the other side of the city and he followed me to continue killing every NPC I crouched behind.

It was a little annoying, but I was actually laughing about it. I lost him when I ran inside of a building.

Yeah, this happens a lot in my favorite mugging spot. I didn't see anyone else using it for a months then people started showing up recently while I was in the middle of my grind and trying to BoW marks before I could finish picking so I started just killing the NPCs outright so they couldn't get anything either. The large bounties are worth them going away IMO. There are always leniency edicts and counterfeit pardon edicts in my pocket so whatever.

People are jerks sometimes. If you see someone grinding a spot, find another spot or come back later. That's how I handle it. It's just common courtesy. But that seems to be lacking these days in every sphere.

Yep. I have fast load times, so I can run in and out of a building and be on my way before you're done loading in.

Seems completely different. From their perspective, you are running to their node and both of you are going there to get resources. It isn't trolling. It is just competing interests.

The OP is talking about people who are just trying to not let people do what they want to do in game at no benefit to the troller apart from the joy of being a d-bag.
