vMoL - Void Avoided Achievement

Does the achievement automatically reset itself if your group messes up and wipes? I've heard that activating and then deactivating hard mode difficulty (praying at the altars) resets it, but I'm not sure.

Requesting a clear answer from an end-game player plz!

It resets on wipe. I've done it a few times before morrowind hit, and it definitely does.

Not sure if it was silently patched but in the tries we took in getting this achievement when a wipe occurred, we had the experience that if someone got cursed during the prior attempt in addition to our runners, it would not reset automatically. What would reset the attempt was activating and deactivating hard mode.

The way I've always understood it is that if more than 2 players are ever cursed throughout all of your attempts, the achievement is no longer unlockable until a new instance is created.

With my group it was always understood that if someone besides the runners were ever cursed, we would go for Fang-Focused instead, and run vMoL a second time afterward to redo Void Avoided.

Not a for sure answer but I hope it may help

On Xbox, this achievement works even if 3+ people get cursed, as long as you wipe and start the fight over. You don't have to reset the difficulty or do anything crazy, just re start the fight.

This is true. Say someone comes in and is showing the runner where to go or runs into the back room and then cleanses before the boss is pulled and it's not a runner, you have to change to hard mode and back. Otherwise, it will reset as intended after every wipe as long as no one gets cursed again before boss is pulled

well we chose two people who goes to the backyard and (the most important thing here we tried it on HM for because of reasons idk why ) one died on platforms while the other ressed him
