I probably liked Wrothgar better. But no complaints

It was overpriced - $60 for 1/15 of the base game (got a new character to L17 doing quests there, which is one faction map out of 5 faction maps, and we have 3 alliances, so this content = 1/15 of base game).

    WTF ZOS?

    Solid 8.

New class is fun, zone is good, main quest is solid, haven't tried battlegrounds yet.

    Crafted sets were disappointing.

    World bosses are fun.

    Love both new houses.

Would have been a 10 if it came with 1 or 2 group dungeons and the crafted sets actually did something useful.

It's alright. Gets a negative 2 to 3 points on the total though for basically having to purchase a new game, delete a character in order to make a Warden all the while getting the content of a DLC,. This while paying a subscription on top of that. Get's a 6 or 7.

The environments are great. The story is OK. At this point I'm not seeing the value vs the expense.

It's right up there, nothing to complain about really, the place is huge, very pretty and epic. New creatures, neat furniture designs everywhere, lots of new contents for everyone, gonna take a few months to digest it all.
    Enjoying it a lot.

I'll let you know when its actually playable. Kinda hard to quest when the damn thing keeps freezing every 5 minutes and stays that way for 2-3 minutes. Not even gonna count when it crashes and tells you there is no net connection.

Very pretty, story is good, dungeons are huge.

Less content than Wrothgar, though, and many nerfs to resources and my main class (templar heals) leave a sour taste in my mouth.

Battlegrounds are still broken - queues take 45 minutes and teams are never even. Warden is meh.

I give it a 6.5 out of 10, rounded up to 7 for poll.

I go with an 8, loving the new land, new opening, quests, desgin, everything really. Only things I would possibly want to fix is mostly just the occasional lag hiccups that I experienced. Maybe a couple times total in the day of playing. Apart from that I love it, just needs a little ironing. I even like what the did to the combat changes and alterations with dps and resource management.

I personally love Morrowind and the direction the game is going in gameplay wise...

Once they fix Battlegrounds, the rating would go up to 9...

Once they give us a viable solution for dealing with Resource Poisons, it would go up to a 10...

Doesn't even come close to Orsinium. Orsinium was built from scratch where Orsinium had to be reimagined. Morrowind was essentially copied and pasted from tes iii and basically they had to update the graphics and lore away or add in certain buildings.

I rated it a 1 just for laughs but if I were to give an honest review I'd give morrowind around a 0.

Orsinium I would give a 10 just because it's the best DLC imo so far and I'm using that as a benchmark for perfection for now.

If you think it should be a 7, rate it a 7. This reminds me of a user review for a game I read once. The person said it was an incredible game. However, the overall score was more then it deserved and rated it a zero to try and bring it down.

    I couldn't believe what I was reading.

Pretty good story/questing content, fun achievements that reward exploring. Haven't created my warden yet or played battlegrounds yet, but I do understand it battlegrounds seemed to be buggy at launch (and maybe still are?)

Good content, but not sure it was worth $40. Maybe $20-30.

Fix battlegrounds ZOS and I'd move my rating up...

I voted, but in retrospect should have held off. The poll is too soon after release. Also suggest it's not focused enough. You need to eliminate the don''t want to pay for anything crowd. And then decide if you are including the new playable area, and/or the Warden, and/or the changes to the game play.

Personally believe the game play changes ought not be included. These were fundamental changes to the entire game, not due to, nor because of the expansion.

Tip of the hat to Insandros his post laid it out well.

Being entirely subjective like we were asked i'd have to say its a eight. I really enjoyed the look, soundtrack, ambiance, and quests of the zone. Battle grounds are great when group finder works, and the warden is a fantastic class to play with. As for the base patch, there is a lot of hit and miss going on.

I really wanted to like this so called expansion. Even voted way higher than I would have had I waited one more day. The sustain nerf happened alongside Morrowind, and because of that I'd rate this update about a 2. Now that I have had a chance to play my other characters, the sustain has pretty much ruined my experience with this game. I just came back about 3-4 weeks ago, and with this update I'm highly considering unsubbing already.

Gave it an 8. Kind of disappointed Fyr is regulated to a Trial I'll probably never get around to doing, a lack of new group dungeons, and Battlegrounds don't interest me too much. As far as a nostalgia-trip, it's been fun, and I've barely left it on most of my characters. I'd say quest, music, and visuals wise, it is the best content ZOS has put out.

As for the new patch, I'd give that a 2.

The xpansion iteself was not bad but... changes to sustain were not good at all for me!! PvE has become a heavy attack fest.... and that funless heavy attack made me wanna play less since im having less fun in PvE.... been a player for 2 years

Not that I have changed my mind that the polls in forums are merely entertainment value, but the results as of now are as follows.

57% have rated the expansion as 7 or higher

    while,

21% have rated the expansion as 4 or lower.

Interesting entertainment. Especially for those that claim this expansion is bad for the game or the expansion is bad in general.
