• EU megaservers for patch maintenance – December 17, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 17:00 UTC (12:00PM EST)
We are currently investigating issues some players are having on the North American megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

Suggestion: Allow show/hide of text chat channels

I'd like to be able to hide certain text chat channels. At the moment, the only text chat option is all on or all off. For example, when I'm in cyrodiil I don't need to see the text chat for my trading guilds, and zone chat is sometimes boring. All these chats quickly push messages I actually want to see, such as group chat or guild chat for the guild I'm with at the time, quickly off the screen, which is a pain.

So my suggestion is to make the chat channels toggleable so I can choose what I want to see. Thanks!

    I don't know if you're on pc or console but I know on pc you can set up different tabs for different chats by clicking on the + icon. I have one set up for zone, one for each of my guilds, and a group one for when it's needed.

    Should be an option in chat settings. I normally run with Zone chat off, that way guild and group don't get drowned out.

    I'm on PS4 and all we have is 1 text chat window with everything in it and no filter options - just chat on or chat off.
