Great Houses in Morrowind

First of all i want to say thank you Zenimax for a great expansion so far. I really enjoy the quests, because there is an actual story behind it and you jsut dont want to stop which is great. I also like the whole Elder Scrolls lore in general, it is just amazing.

But some things still annoy me, or rather i dont like them as much as wish i would.First thing is, that i dont want to be called outlander, as a dunmer. Sometimes npcs even mention that im a dunmer, but in the next sentence they just call me the same again. Kinda kills all the immersion. I know it´s kinda difficult and lots of effort to make a seperate text for only dunmer, but it would help as we are still playing a RPG. I mean i dont expect a completely different storytelling, jsut get rid of the outlander. But that´s actually not a big deal, jsut a little thing that annoys me.

I was actually excited to choose one of the Great Houses in Morrowind, but as everyone should be able to complete the whole content, this is obviously not possible. But here is my suggestion. Why dont implemet daily quests for each of the Great Houses located in Morrowind, you have a seperate skill line to level up, like the guild ones, maybe just including passives, etc.(that´s a different topic). The higher you level it up, the more you are accepted by member of the mentioned House. As everyone completed the whole storyline throughout Morrowind and was able to got an insight in every of the three Houses it was a great feature to be able to choose one of them. It was great for RPs and was in no conflict with the current storytelling.

This has been a rather big problem for me when I was playing the expansion. I'm playing as a Dunmer who isn't canonically from outside of Morrowind, so there's no reason characters should act like I know nothing about the Dunmer (despite my protagonist being one) and shouldn't refer to me as Outlander. It made sense in Morrowind (the game) when you were a Cyrodillic Dunmer, but that's not the case in ESO. Even as a hero of the Ebonheart Pact, that's pretty much ignored.

It's really rather annoying, and since Orsinium was able to have characters acknowledge an Orc protagonist, I don't see why a Dunmer protagonist couldn't be properly acknowledged in the expansion.

It would've been nice to be able to chose one of the Great Houses like in the original Morrowind. Stripping away difficult and divergent choices doesn't really engage me all that much with this expansion.

They did implement a daily quest for the ashlanders. But you'll have to complete a questline to acquire that and the last quest is hidden, I only found it by chance by exploring the region. But yes, this is possible and it would be a neat addition to the region.

It would also give players, like myself. Who've done everything in that region already. More reasoning to go back to that region and do the dailies. Which, I admit, I haven't even touched a daily in that zone yet because I have no reason too.

Haven't even started Morrowind yet but sad to hear you can't join the Great Houses. Hoping they build on it later.
