Is it possible to do Vvardenfell tutorial on already maxed character?

Title...

Please don't tell me it's not because I'll have to completely recreate my main as it's absolutely immersion and gamebreaking problem for me. I want a fully accomplished character :/

EDIT: I do NOT care about skillpoints or any kind of ingame "advantage". All i care about is getting the quest and story done on my main character. That's more important to me than anything, it's how i play every game and every MMO. I had all quests completed even in WoW.

This really isn't fun for me. Maybe I'm just a weirdo with OCD but it's really sad. ZOS!!! FIX THIS PLEASE!

SOLVED: just sucked it up and RP'd my way through it. Thank You @puffytheslayer for an awesome idea. Skooma Pipe <3

Sat down in front of it at my house relogged to identical alt and finished it.

Have to agree my main is a dk and I do all content with him first, so that blows a bit. Really want all the content even if it's a tutorial, I mean I did spend a $100 dollars on the physical CE.

The original Wailing Prison gave 3 skillpoints; the new Morrowind tutorial gives 3 skill points. If you skipped either, your character started out at Level 3 with 2 attribute points and 3 skill points. You're not missing out any anything as it was the same pre-Morrowind. 2 attribute points and 3 skill points. Since you're requried to do Wailing Prison (unskippable now) you even get the skyshard.

Just tested it out on a new character to confirm.

Can i get any GM to comment on this please? Don't want to write a ticket about something that should be easy and trivial enough to find out.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno perhaps?

Lets try this. We talked about this extensively in Beta.

Your non-new character CANNOT do the boat tutorail. Its for teaching new characters how to play. HOWEVER, part of the instance, outside the "camp" is part of a quest that higher level, already created characters can do as part of another quest. So, only the stuff inside the "camp" is not available. Oh, and.. since it was mentioned, no shipwreck either.

Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

Exactly. I couldn't care less about skillpoints and whatever. It's the soul of a completionist that makes this difficult for me. I am literally considering deleting my main character and starting all over (which means getting all quests, all other achievements, PVP ranks, Skyshards, Books, etc. etc.).

It just really really really hurts not being able to make my character a part of the whole story. It's like an OCD thing.

Why on earth Nirn, delete your main? Make a slave alt and do it.

It's about fully completing the story with the main character. Just making an alt does nothing. Alts are alts for a purpose, they get maxed by grinding and i just dont care. But i want my "personal avatar" to have explored the entire world and not miss out on anything.

radical idea. you can switch mains... without deleting your original character! you can keep them and just create a new character to do all the stories with, if you wanted to!

Welp... my excitement for Morrowind just died. Good job ZOS. New characters get the Morrowind and Coldharbour tutorial both. Old characters get ***. Whatever.... people here are just going to get offensive so I'm going to end that here.

Thanks for the replies folks. This actually does it for me. As ridiculous as it may sound. It's like reading a really good book and then finding out half way through that there are few pages missing.

Wow you people really think everybody just complains and asks the devs for *** don't you? I only meant to ask a question to know whether i have to delete my main or not. Now I know I do, it killed my excitement but whatever... I'll just start over, not like the world's going to burn lol.

I'd actually just open a ticket. Cuz I don't feel the need to get attention of everybody.

Idk why are you so focused on this? I literally just asked a question and MENTIONED I might be deleting my character as a result. In no way have I directly complained or asked for anything granted to me. This is why forums are toxic lol. A person can't even ask a question anymore without providing their own opinion or reason.

Sorry you are getting crap OP.

Some people forget it's a role play game.

I agree with you, I'd like to "board a ship to Vvardenfell" and get caught up in some intrigue. It's like my poor vestige can't catch a break lol! He'd slap his forehead and sigh before charging in.

I'm hoping this is a correctable oversight and they will change it in upcoming patches. Also, I never play on day one because it's too crowded for my role play purposes.

I think people are just shocked that you'd have such an extreme reaction to such a seemingly minor thing. (Honestly, it does seem equivalent to burning down your house because you got a spot of paint on the wall while painting a doorframe. But hey, whatever floats your boat. /shrug)

I know it looks a little crazy and harsh but it's really what matters to me. I do enjoy endgame aspects (PVP, PVE) but without completion of other aspects my character just feels bland. It's the same as if someone gave you an ugly character that they created for you and forced you to play it lol. You would NOT enjoy it.

I love completing everything also but we are literally talking about reading a letter (which says have a safe trip), a wreck which happens so fast you can't tell what hit the ship, and waking up in a cell with Naryu freeing you. I'm sure once you leave that little area (which teaches you basics of the game) then you can pick up with any other player.

And keep this in mind, no new character is going to get the experience of coming to the island from an old character's point of view. So, you're going to be screwed out of missing some small thing somewhere. Just make a new character and play through and then decide if it would be worth deleting your main. If you decide to, enjoy. I don't think you missed much myself since Naryu's introduction in Deshaan was much better than being rescued by her here. I will admit having known your character for some time then being killed by Mannimarco sounds really appealing.

That's futile, because if you do that then your new main wont have done the Wailing Prison. Unfortunately you'll just have to deal with it one way or another. I accepted it and just did it on a new character before I started questing with my main so I had seen it.

The tutorial seems to be one very quick quest. I did not see another quest. Created two characters. Tutorial on one and skipped in on the second. There is a second quest in that area, but the second character was brought back for it.

Any benefit we receive from the tutorial our existing characters already gained that from their original tutorial.

Yes, but if you were the type of person that would burn said house, wouldn't you go and ask to get the paint removed first? OP just wants to complete everything. I personally don't, but I'm not going to tell someone else how they should play content they paid for.
