Why is my character name invalid?

I am trying to create a new character with the Warden class. I tried repeatedly to give him a name. I can't understand why it doesn't work. Each time it was <First name> Hurlevent. None of the first names was accepted. So the conclsion is that Hurlevent poses a problem, but I can't figure out why since I already have a char whose name is Sigurd Hurlevent. My new char is supposed to be a younger brother to the other one, so it's really important for me that they share their last names.

Alt 5: A Breton sorcerer named Gilian Sorril (he's Erwann's younger brother)

✭✭✭✭✭I just recently made two characters, last week, and had no issues entering a first and last name.
So, the common causes, did you have a space at the start of the first name, did you use any special characters? Do you have more than one space between the names? Have you tried with an Underscore connecting them? _
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭✭✭✭✭Without knowing what those first names were, it's impossible to comment beyond suggesting that you try some others, and if necessary create a character with an accepted name and then submit a ticket request explaining the brotherly connection and asking for the name to be changed if acceptable.0 -
Shanjijri✭✭✭✭Maybe all the name you want are already taken... Did you try a "weird" name, to be sure no one take it, like "Siguuurd Hurlevent", with a lot of "u". Just to test if Hurlevent is a problem or if people already take the name you want.0 -
