Nothing about Morrowind itself but I really miss the old music. And for some reason, everything has a grainy look to it now. My graphics settings remain the same. I'm maxxed resolution and high to ultra high on all options yet still the grainy look. I do play on a HDTV so stonework could sometimes have that look but now even the grass. Using a nVidia 1060 card if that helps.

Grainy for me too, most noticeable on UI text elements. Nvidia 760. I shall try forcing various AA settings through the Nvidia control panel etc.

I've either gotten used to it or its similar to how it ran when I first installed it on this machine. Sort of like everything vibrated or glistened or something. Little sickening at first. I'm not sure but I think there may have been a driver update though I thought it was just the nVidia program getting updated. Nonetheless, I've settled in to it. The grass is what got me at first but I remember the first time I ran it on this machine coming from a very lesser one, I thought I was going to lose my lunch those first few minutes.

About the music, I still miss the old theme. The new music is great. Amazing even. But that old theme was so grandiose and majestic. I do love the new music. Especially within the game. Much more pronounced and memorable. Oh well, I still have my ESO soundtrack thankfully :)

My game doesn't look grainy at all. I have an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060. Everything looks super sharp.

Your resolution is probably to high in order to make the graphics look like authentic 2002 ESIII you need to tone it down a lot more.

I'll try that. That was my recommended so just change water reflection. But I am curious to see if I can get that smooth look I had on my Mac. That was truly beautiful.

I miss the old theme too - I agree, it was much more powerful and grand. I did get all excited upon hearing those first few iconic notes with the new one, but felt let down when I realised it wasn't the 'Nerevar Rising' that we know & love.
However the rest of the music is awesome, especially those of the original Morrowind - so beautiful!

As wonderful as the old theme was, but after listening to it on an almost daily basis for two and a half year now, I'm really happy about the new theme.

I quite like these sick beats dropped with morrowind ^.^

Morrowind has some great music but that's a bit of the problem. Its Morrowind's music. Unless I'm mistaken, we even get the old Morrowind theme. Its really good and if they release it on another soundtrack, I'll be buying it. And it would totally fit a game called Morrowind Online.

I did try the suggestions and I would end up with goofy resolutions. I couldn't find the smooth setting so I came back to check. Well no wonder. Look in Camera, silly. I was up and down in Video asking where's it at, where. Oh, while I'm here. has anyone noticed this new tech that keeps our feet to the ground? I thought mine was off since I didn't see a difference no matter what I would stand on. Must be very slight. His heels still hand in mid-air on stairs or one disappears. I did find that they added auto decline duels. No idea when that came in but thanks.

Cheez Whiz, gang, if you miss the old music that much download a copy of the soundtrack and stick it in iTunes. I've heard it so often I don't need to hear it again. It's on a repeating tape loop inside my head.

I have it in iTunes. Now I want it in ESO. Not sure I understand your complaint here. Sorry. Maybe clarify?

I like the old theme better, it reminded me of Oblivion.
