Coldharbour questing has been the BEST!

I am running my first toon through Coldharbour. It has been the best experience. I came in to a lifeless town and it has slowly filled in and opened up and become a thriving community. All my choices reflect in who is there. The chains on the doors are removed and the shops have opened. I feel like this is MY city. I wish I could live there. I see there is a 'home' but it's not technically mine.

    Have you done Orsinium yet?
If not.. just wait until you get to Wrothgar :)

    But yeah, Coldharbour was cool.

Yeah, make sure you explore every inch of coldharbour - theres some villages right on the edge of the map (like the argonian village, and the nord village). Don't forget to go to the Tower of Lies, which is a canyon/quarry ironically (lore is that its a cruel joke of Molag Bal's) and is just outside the hollow city itself , but has its own gate out of the city slightly north of the wayshrine. The more people you rescue, the more help you will get for the final assault.

I hope you chose to help the wood elves and not the lamia, they will be a huge help to you.

You might not know what this means yet, but when you find them, save the Khajiit and sacrifice the High Elf. The khajiit will give you light when you need it the most.

Great zone the first time I played through it; now it just annoys me. Too much blue everywhere. >.< Quests are good though.

Just take a good look at the city, in particular the skyline as you are in it before you do much in the zone, then again as you do things in the zone. You will see some changes. Much more than chains on the doors.

Coldharbor is one of my more favorite zones to do things in. Just remember, yes that first step is a doozy.

Cold Harbor is fun but the dark dreary color gets to me after awhile.

Loved it the first time too! But I've been through it five times now...

Yes, I noticed the sun peeking out, the town seemed brighter, less oppressive.

I was referring to Orsinium in my post. The city gets rebuilt as you do the zone.

But your right, Coldharbor seems to be less, well, cold as you do the quests up there.

Ah, ok! Thanks, I will for sure keep an eye out on it!

It's amazing how this game can turn something so nice into something so evil.

I'm on my 5th toon and now saying, "Ugh. I have to do Coldharbour again."

I know I don't have to do it, but if I want those skyshards, I have to at least complete the lower half.

I did not like questing in that zone very much but it looked really good and I love how the city gets more and more alive when you progress trough it.

It is a really well made zone. And I hope they do some of the future content work in a simialr way (the progression that is).

Also Iraki(the blademaster in the Hollow City) is amazing. If you havn't go speak with her and then go talk to the enchantress.

Just rounded it up on an alt and yes its cool.
For an laugh talk to the Khajiit weapon trader in the crafting area :)

Only downside is that we don't keep the buff we got then killing Morlarg Bal.
This one could get used to 200k dps on single target :)
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I've quested on so many characters that I am now utterly bored with Coldharbour.

Same with Mass Effect 2. As you progress, new members join your crew, your ship is upgraded, and everything will aid you in your final battle
