that's odd, if i put 1 cp point in and do a test the numbers change...

jump point does sound very mathematical <
sarcasm in case you missed it.
"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Insight to Agree to Awesome Ratio = 1:6.04:2.76 as of 1/25/2019

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.

It's very simple, though others make it more complicated for no good reason except to make themselves seem more important.

Ignore the fractional part of the percentage. They are ignored by the game. The value to the left of the decimal point is all that matters.

Generally devs do not tell the players how combat aspects actually work. While Devs should know about how the CP math works, they generally are not as knowledgeable as many of the theorycrafters and number crunchers such as @Asayre

This in itself is an absurd situation. Some guy on the Internet the can put together (in his spare time) a spreadsheet that will calculate your dps to a decimal point but the devs who do this for a living dont even know the basics of their talent system.

P2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. F2P offers you 'thank god its over' moments.

thanks for the post. this is not a minor detail is a major design characteristic the tooltip must capture... dissapointing for sure

LOL and the necro thread award of the week goes to....

Seriously this isn't that big of a deal and I think some people in this old thread that is old may be overreacting just a bit (which is shocking to see on the ESO forum site). While I agree ZOS probably should update the UI so it accurately reflects the jump points and doesn't tell you that you are getting more damage unless you really are by adding a point, I don't mind the fact that they exist. In fact I kind of like them since it makes figuring out your champ point allocation more difficult and interesting.

Also bumping this thread might confuse some people and make this think the jump points changed again with Horns of the Reach, which I don't believe they have.

It's a huge deal because it means that people are potentially wasting dozens of CP points.

    And your options are:

    Live with it
    Play another game.

As for this thread that was dead..before Morrowind came out.

Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.
