Will Warlock be a good set after Morrowind?

The guys here have run the numbers, Still not as good as Lich.

Warlock has 2 Regen bonuses and a 9k flat Bonus that can proc once every Minute at Best, die which equals 300 mag Regen.
In total 558 regen

Lich has 2 Regen bonuses and the 5p Bonus is 1032 Regen for 20s which procs once every Minute at best. That equals 344 Regen AND gets buffed by racials, Vamp, pots and other regen %bonuses
Total 602 Regen + bonus

So lich is always better if you arent frost staff perma blocking or Mist forming



Another good set is amberplasm which gives permanent 300 mag and stam regen at all times Not only if you are under 33%

I'm quite fancying lich set for one of my magicka builds come Monday, thankfully I ran that dungeon a few times recently and have quite a few pieces stashed away so I don't have to feel as though I'm farming for it (ugh).

For pvp the question would be if the magicka regen proc of the Lich set is affected by poisions reducing magicka regen or even Siphoner (if you play with CP).

Warlock has a flat return of Magicka though.

Warlock and Seducer combos used be a great set up in the past before all the "improvements" to the game.

Yes, almost every mana user had Warlock in Thornblade at a point. In pvp, will Warlock be (close to) BiS after Morrowind?

As stated above, Lich gives slightly higher magicka-regen and should therefore be favored in most situations.

its a matter of taste, like said above- lich is better under optimal conditions but also subject to poisons and siphoning.
while warlock is always flat.
so if you are looking for consistency in your build then warlock might be the better pick.

arch-mage is another set that might become really good for sustain whit all the heavy attacking we are about to do.

Poisons are getting nerfed, I've heard, but will still be pretty common in pvp, I assume, so guess Warlock is the safest BiS then, right?

Coincidentally, just bought 2 gold warlock rings off the golden vendor.
Already have neck and 2 body pieces so not farming lich. lol

yea poisons are getting nerfed, but siphoning is getting boosted if im not wrong. i also suspect that draining/steal poisons are going to become allot more common because people will go there to get their sustain.

yea amberplasm might be the strongest of them all on paper, but only when coupled whit Dark Conversion.
and DC still has to be used in moderation to avoid getting CC'd
you also need to have it on both bars to make it really work and can't only backbar it as lich and warlock and therefor it has limited build options.

Withered Hand might be a good set to use in conjunction with lich as it gives back health and magicka whenever an enemy dies within 28 metres with a cooldown of only 3 seconds.

Lich is better, but if you use mist form - warlock becomes much better

No it's not better. Lich/warlock can proc from your backbar and then you can switch back to the front bar set. Amber plasm has to be your front bar set.

Warlock is better for some situations. If you end up desperately low in pvp and need a shield and streak lich won't save you. Warlock burst will. I find it better on a magdk than lich. Get very low on magika, drop an ulti switch bar to warlock sword and board with gems and boom full stats instantly. Lich is great in groups when you don't need to panic.
