Aim arrow not showing up when sieging. PC/NA

on multiple siege attempts, arrow to aim isn't showing up. Tried aiming without and isn't aiming correctly.

This has been happening off and on to me for weeks. If I hop off the siege then back onto it 5 or 6 times my arrow will eventually show up.

I've also noticed that putting it back into my inventory and placing it again will not fix it. Once a particular engine has this problem, it will always have this problem. Sadly, they end up taking up a siege spot until they decay.

This has been happening on and off to me since the Homestead patch. Maybe 3 times out of 5 I can fix the problem by exiting out of siege-aiming view, going into first person and then back out again, and then re-entering siege aiming view.

Do you guys also have issues with ineffective siege? Sometimes it's like I'm shooting rubber bullets instead of ballista bolts. I get the aim arrow, and watch my animated bolt or treb bundle fly and hit my target, and it does zero damage. I never go into combat mode, no damage to structures, players or npcs is recorded. Just - nothing.
