Seamless Transition

So I haven't seen a thread about this yet so I thought I would make my own.

During a recent ESO live Stream Wrobel and Co. talked about how they wanted the game to be seamless. That players could transition from pvp to trials to pledges to BG's all seamlessly while not having to change gear, skills, weps, cp or anything.

Now we all know that isn't how it is on live, and its not how it is on pts. Giving credit where its due, they will probably be working towards changes to make it that way ( for better or for worse).
My question is, if there goal is seamless integration of all aspects of the game, why have cp in PvE, but not in BG's, and why push for no cp in most Cyrodil campaigns? It doesn't make sense.

I just thought I would post this and see what kind of input the players have, and how they feel about this. Maybe I can even get ZoS to acknowledge the apparent discrepancy.

What Zos said is a player would need had to relearn him to fight when going from PvE to PvP. Combat is. If wheee near the same agiant players vs a predictable programmed boss regardless of the difficulty.

I would expect even the devs realize that. Again, it was just a sound bite they thought would help sell the changes to the unaware player.

They need to tone down the necessity of Impen gear to make one set of gear useful for both PVE and PVP.

They know CP is/was messed up; so in order to have more universal balance they went no CP with battlegrounds. Clearly CP is the odd one out of their policy of wanting seamless designs. A continuous process, they must find a solution or anything PVP related after this will just cut CP out. Exactly like how they are trying to within campaigns.

There is now one CP enabled campaign, this is just to hush the crowd and slowly poke them into no CP(imo). As for xbone, maybe they are just being tested on, otherwise why would they get another campaign? Most populated?

 hmm, I don't know. I think it's okay transition process. Sure you definitely need to change a few things to be effective, but for most part I can walk into these areas do okay..

Maybe because there is a big difference between a cp20 and 600 ? No CP, it's balancing PvP, for me. Such thing only needed in PvP.

What I'm trying to get at, and maybe could have made clearer is that there cannot be a seamless transition from PvE to PvP, if one has cp, and cp is being phased out in another. You also cannot have a seamless transition between the two, because one has battle spirit and the other doesn't. It is mainly because of those two things that anyone wanting to transition from one aspect to the other will have to change gear, skills, etc. It seems to me that ZOS is aiming at a pipe dream.
