What should Zose do with CP?

With the introduction of the new PvP servers, with only one of them CP enabled (creating a zerg infestation), do we really need CP anymore? I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way, but I think that we should reintroduce soft caps and remove CP. Back when you didn't have to min-max to get exceptional stats, and you had to manage your resources, there was arguably more balance (forget mag dks). What do you plebs think?

Zose is out of touch with the PvP community and they should L2P before they make decisions.

There's actually nothing wrong with CP anymore (after Morrowind)

The issue with them before was infinite sustain and powerful shields. the regen, and checks and balances have been addressed. There was no need for noCP pvp anymore. lol.

its like, ZOS did the right thing to address CP imbalance, then disabled CP. it doesnt make sense!

Exactly. They're discouraging a system that took them a year and a half to implement and another year and a half to come close to balance.

I'm not sure what they should do, honestly. It's a tough question.

As I play and play, I want to feel like my character is getting more powerful. And evolving. When there's a hard ceiling it can be frustrating. However, I like to pvp...and if we're all getting more powerful you end up with the power creep problem.

I suppose a hedge would be to slowly shift the CPs to specialty lines instead of all-out power. The recent changes seem like a good first step...I invest in 3x as many lines as I did before. But I think there's still a meta...I don't think it's quite right if the goal is to encourage diversity. Like if I could spend 50 and get sprint speed...but then don't have more powerful ones like weapon damage to keep people away from the speed one.

Actually, ignore everything I just said. It was a long, zergy night in Cyrodiil.
