This game has become incredibly annoying to play w/o sub!!

And inventory space is the main problem, long ago we didnt need to have these much sets or mats so things were managable.

Now new sets are introduced with every patch and there are some perfect drops that you just cant throw even if you cant use now, because if you do need them in the future rng is a nightmare.

There are so much more mats in the game now also.

Mules are not the best idea since it can be very confusing at times which one you left the item with and you cant use mats directly from mules inventory.

Also upgrading bank space and inventory space gets really expensive at some point.

People can still pay a lot of money in this game without subbing as I did. I bought all dlc, banker, merchant, many cosmetics and some horse training and bank space and I sub occassionally.

But the feeling of having to Sub just to not be annoyed and inconvinenced to that extent is not worth it.

I bought this game because it was a b2p model, but annoying players so much that they have to sub is a f2p move.

This is one of the reasons I can't get back into the game and havent bought morrowind yet.

I would like a place in my house to store house items like furniture and mats instead of my character inventory. That would free up a lot.

Before I had craft bag I use to use my bank for just crafting mats never had a stack over 200. Then all jewelry was on one character and sets on another and all monster set on another was really annoying. I'm not sure how I would do it now without ESO+

Well I'm going with number 4 now, but I have hope that one day they might not be so greedy.

4 mules here. Use them for specific things. Still a hassle, but makes it easier to find things.

Why are you carrying around so much stuff? The only mats I keep are max level mats, style traits and useful traits. And that I store on my crafter. My bank is 90/140 and my main character 30/140. Don't see your problem

I thought I read somewhere that upon Morrowind's release, bank space for both subs and non-subs would be doubled. Resulting in a double-double for subs, or so to speak? Can't find the source anymore so don't know if it's still true.

If so, this may help you out with your inventory management.

No they will just double the sub space and non subbers with get nothing.

Meaning non-subs are out of luck unfortunately.

The sub benefits do make the game much easier and they definitely seem to be moving in the direction of QoL options being locked behind the sub.

This isn't a good thing in the long term but let's hope they don't go full SWTOR on us.

Dump the mats. You don't need to store them. If you need to craft something, just buy the exact quantity you need on the market and immediately use it up. Instead of farming mats, farm mobs for drops to sell, and you will get more mats in the end than if you were picking them up yourself.

Yeah, if you're going to tell us your game is non subscription, stop making it hardly bearable without said subscription. Craft bag, 10% extra xp, 10% extra gold, faster research, more inventory space, more space in your homes, all DLC free, etc etc . I get that you have to have SOME incentive for a subscription but come on.

/facepalm.
1) You're not being forced to sub.
2) Weren't you complaining about Riding Lessons in Crown store being P2W and how it gives an unfair advantage at one point?
3)Mules are a great idea. You can get 210(150) slots on every character. I have my bank + 5 characters with 150 slots full - and I still manage just fine. Addon "Inventory Insight" from Ashes really helps a lot.
And please, don't tell me you're using more than ~5-6 sets at once, leaving you at around ~55-60 inventory spaces used for gear. That's still another 140 for whatever. + your bank.

Aaaaaaand you don't need to save trash-materials.

I don't understand why a business selling a service so it can keep running it's business is greedy, but someone wanting something extra for free because they feel inconvenienced is perfectly acceptable. Seems backwards to me.

Ok my bad for trying to talk some logic, I remember now the other reason I quit, the community defends ZOS no matter how they ruin the game or greedy the become.

I guess there really is no hope for this game.

*snort*. Nobody is defending anything. Just voicing our opinion, just like you. The fact that you resort to attacking the community and blaming us for you quitting, is pretty immature. I was hoping we had a higher standard than that, but guess not.

It seems as though your logic is expecting ZOS to cater to the wants and needs of their players - or you, specifically. Nobody is defending ZOS when they're stating that it's your choice to pay for extras in using their product. And nobody is forcing you to subscribe since nobody but you controls your wallet. If you don't agree with ZOS, stop supporting the product. If you want to keep using the product, realize that the creator is in no way obligated to make things easier / better / more convenient for you.

I completely agree with inventory management being a pain without eso plus, however, I don't actually get why some people go on like non subscribers are losing out. Non subscribers haven't lost anything they didn't have day 1. I'd see the point if they had reduced bank space from 240 to 200, but it's been consistent. Nothing has been taken away.

As for hoarding stuff, yeah you may use it in future, but I'd be surprised if you ever used most of the stuff. It's a mentality I have too, so not knocking you, just giving you the reality of the situation.

Sub or do not OP, no one cares, but it sounds like you are moaning to the community about your issues.

If you hoard, then sub so it makes it easier for inventory management, or sell stuff off or whatever.

I've been subbing since pre-release when subbing was the only option to play the game ... after that they went "BtP" and progressively loosened things to the point that us subbers were being mocked in these same forums for wasting money for no reason ... then they started adding back benefits to try to stop us subbers leaving.

The pendulum swings I guess.

I have zero sympathy for the OP, however.

Its like saying people used to earned 100$ a month 500 years ago and now they still earn 100$ so what is the problem.
