Hello, I am writing because I'm having trouble getting a hold of anyone from Zenimax, Bethesda, or in association with The Edler Scrolls Online. The reason I am attempting to contact someone is because I'm having trouble logging in inside the game client. I can download and install, sign in to the launcher, and account management page, as well as the support forum.

However, even after paying for the game I cannot login because the client continues to return the message, "Login failed. Your username and/or password may be incorrect or inactive at this time. If you purchased the game through steam..." I did not purchase the game through Steam, I bought it directly on The Elder Scrolls Online's website...

That being said, I have gone through the account/password recovery process several times, through several different pages...so I know I'm not entering the wrong password...and the client says it's either that or my account isn't active even though I paid for the game. Which this is considerably odd since on my account management page, it says next to The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, "Account Status: Active - Trial" ... I'm a little upset and confused now since I've also waited 2 days trying to download the game because of the recent "patchfail_unziperror" errors in order to find out my transaction wasn't processed properly or my account wasn't activated...

So, either I'm going to need game access or a refund.

Do you have your key? Don't share it to anyone though. I think you need to activate your accoubt first. I'm not familiar with non-steam ESO so I cannot help much but don't post or give anyone such sensitive information such as your password or game key. There is support here on thos site and you'd be wise to use the feature and help. It will take at least a day to get a reply but it's worth it. Don't rush. Anyway, good luck and happy gaming.

PS: You may have to activate your accoubt first by login and put your key somewhere in this site. I created my account before I have the key so I had to bind it to my steam, perhaps that's what you need to do.

Yeah, I copy/pasted the game code I see in Billing History to the Redeem Code window in the account management page, but it didn't recognize the code. As an extra measure I also did that for the order # hahaha! Checked email, confirmation email had same code as Billing History in account management page, so, I'm stumped...

You can always send an email with the code to customer support. They can double check the code to see if there are any issues and even apply the code on their end if necessary.

Yes, at about 2:06 PM CST I sent emails to the following addresses with both the game code and order number, as well as an explanation of the situation. So I will wait for a reply, thank you for getting in touch with me.
