Caldwells Silver

So finally done main story after playing on and off for 3 year years, I'm only level 18 because I decided to not do anything but main quest on a new character now I'm unsure if I should accept this quest or wait till doing everything in Daggerfall.

What I want to know though is there anything I miss out on by ignoring the quest and should I go ahead and do whatever it does?

The quest is essentially "do all the main quests in the next alliance". If you are DC, that will be the AD zones. So you can finish DC first and then move on.

If you are a crafter, you want the reward. But there is no rush.

Oh right main quests I don't ever want to do them again thought it meant the side quests, thanks.

There isn't really a reason not to accept it. You will get a free port to the starting zone of the next alliance, and from there can choose whether to do the zone's main quests or hunt down and finish all of the DC ones. I even recommend starting Cadwell's Silver so you have some direction of what to do if you need a break from DC questing.

Still got nearly all Daggerfall side quests the Mages and Thieves guilds haven't even started I got all dungeons to do all DLC basically everything, if that's done within the next 2 years I might consider it ;)

How did you complete the main quest while only being level 18? I thought the quest sections were only available to you after you hit certain levels (increments of 5 etc).

I finished all of it outside Craglorn in about six weeks real-time.

    Just finished Cadwell's gold.

Changed it last year, with scaling everything is your level it just means it's a lot tougher without good gear and skills but can still be done.

Yeah it's possible but I tend to only play a week or two then don't come back for months, it's kind of my go to when bored of other games.

They also nerfed the crap out of it. I killed Molag Bal just spamming Surprise Attack like an idiot.

I have video of doing the guild quests at 31 before the scaling. That's how I made it a challenge.

Nobody really cares about a challenging story in an online game, back when it was locked behind a level hardly anyone completed it because most had moved on from the game before reaching level 20.

If you were able to go through story to begin with instead of do a bit grind to proceed and so on I reckon a lot more would have stuck around after launch.
