I don't play anymore but I still check the forums lol. Stuff you do while commuting on a train.

Yeah this game is trash. They've had years to improve it from a point where it was fun and instead they've drove it into a ditch.

You forget the crowds who'll be in here whining about all the changes, should be a good read for a week or so.

Reasons why I find the forum entertaining:

    - lawyering from ZOS defenders
    - quitting drama
    - khajiit posts
    - tug of war between PvE and PvP

Ooh yes, thanks for reminding me. You don't get that quality of salt in-game; the best I can find is incoherent trolling over real life politics in Davon's Watch.

I actually thing forums are going from bad to worse. We arent even nearly as constructive what we were like 1 year back. Surveys could save the day, imho. Surveys done right would bring the "grip" into the forums, at least for some time.

Oh god, don't remind me. For a brief moment, there was some pretty entertaining innuendo going on there, but it lapsed into politics while I was switching characters. :\

If you play ESO primarily because you like rpg, then this forum is the sequel to Cadwell's Gold. Veterans will always spend much time in this forum as long as 1) the devs don't create more DLCs with good storylines that last longer than a week, and 2) there is no better mmo to play.

Feels like the only reason the game is fun, is because I want it to be.

But honestly I haven't opened it in weeks. Just been immersing myself in Witcher 3 again. I'll probably play Morrowind for like a month then quit completely.

Hımm.. If you think, forum is more fun than game... Then... FORUM NEEDS TO BE BALANCED!

Devs will solve this problem by making the forum more boring. Don't worry.

What's "sad" is people trash talking the game on it's forum even if they "don't play it anymore".

I actually find people who speak bad about ESO quote hilarious, usually they are players who literally have no idea about what's going on on the MMO market at the moment and in what state the other MMOs are.

ESO is the best MMO on offer, and that's coming from a player who played WoW since vanilla every single day for many hours, played GW2 for about a year and a half, played SWTOR for more than a year. Even played a plethora of the Korean MMOs.

Before you spill your toxic garbage, please get some sort of a clue and take your whiny cancer elsewhere. Literally triggered by seeing such threads on the forums.

I wouldn't say that everyone speaking bad about ESO has no idea. A decent number have pretty good reason. Especially if you consider the recent DLCs we got. One was two dungeons and the other a copy and paste pointless and overpriced digital property market.

And ESO the best MMO on the market is your opinion. I personally think that's Final Fantasy XIV. I enjoy ESO but I'm happier paying a subscription for FF as this game encourages group play much more than ESO, and that's why I play MMOs.

But...but most other MMOs have a transmog system!

(I do find ESO better than the other MMOs I have played, but it lacks many fundamental features like transmog, a reliable group finder, search function, known trait/learnt recipe indication, etc., which puzzles me.)

ESO being the best on offer doesn't mean there's no room for improvement. Being the best by a long way still means we should protest changes to the game that make it slide that little bit further into mediocrity.

More fun than the game? This one thinks not. However the forum does serve as quite the comedic relief while this one performs his boring everyday tasks. Natch potes days are especially great in that regard.

I shouldn't be on the forums during work either, but it's easier to cover up and less noticable.

Just been logging in and out for crafting writs the past month.

Waiting on that Morrowind to drop.
