Full pet build

I'm thinking of making my sorcerer a full pet build with heavy armor Morkuldin, monster helm that summons either daedroth or dwarven sphere.
One weapon set would be 1H/shield and the other bar would be either resto or ice staff, whichever gives me more survivability.
Max health would be the prioritized resource, magicka regen would be the prioritized sustain and heling would be done with the pet.
That would make it a conjurer with 5 pets active at the best time.

What tips can you give me on this build, like other sets, abilities, play style or warnings?

With heavy armor and Morkuldin you may find magicka sustain to be an unwelcome issue. Remember that Morkuldin is primarily a stamina 5-pc set. Also, if you slot Storm Atronach, you can only have a max of three pets active at one time.

The most common pet builds focus on a high magicka pool (40-50k magicka) ... and forget about sustain. My sorc pet build, which has cleared vMA, has 46k magicka, 20k health, and 9k stam.

Though your proposed build is certainly unique, I would try it on PTS first ... before using your resources on Live putting it together.

There is a limitation that would stop all 5 pets to be summoned if I slot the Storm Atronach?

how do you get 5 pets to be summoned?

I have a pet build character with clanfear and matriarch double barred so they are always up. Then when I have enough ultimate the Storm Atronoch. And I have the Daedroth monster helm. So that is four pets.

overall ive found that this character build is low dps. Ive tried to do veterans but slow the group down with my low dps. but regular content is ok.

There is no pet limit. You can have 5 out. 2 from sets, 2 from abilities, 1 ult.

Potentially more if you use that undaunted webs ability

The fifth would be the summoned weapon from Morkuldin set, unless there is an actual limitation on summoned pets

@Waffennacht Good idea with the undaunted webs, thank you!

Yeah, np, I did it for fun too. Back when you only had maw, mork, atro, familiar, and twilight, then once in a blue moon someone would activate the synergy. I stopped the day I couldn't save a player I should've been able to save.

I made almost the same exact build on my Argonian Sorcerer named Edgar Scales, but I also included Trinimac's Valor set. It's fun, but not nearly as strong as builds you could create without Morkuldin and Maw of the Infernal sets. Here is my "team:"

    Edgar Scales - Argonian Sorc
    Nigel - Scuttler (vanity pet)
    Thaddeus - Guar mount
    Winston - Clannfear
    Genevieve - Twilight
    Cornelius - Storm Atronach
Rupert - Maw of Infernal Daedroth
    Oliver - Morkuldin sword
    Ignacious - Trinimac fragment

I used the character mainly for tanking in Normal Dungeons. If you go the tanking route, then you'll probably be fine because hybrid is okay for that. You could also consider exchanging Maw of the Infernal for Shadowrend set if you are tanking because the debuff that the spectral clannfear provides is helpful for tanking.

I don't think it's a good night idea to use so many at once

It would fun to more usage from monster pet sets.

Also, if you slot Storm Atronach, you can only have a max of three pets active at one time.

This is outright false since I've been using a "all the pets" build since it first became possible: you can have everything alive at the same time, there's no limit except on armor/weapon space for stuff like Maw, Shadowrend and Morkuldin.

I use Maw of Infernal, Morkuldin, all Daedric Summoning pets (Familiar/Twilight/Antronach) for a damage-based build: you have no ability to burst, but you can sustain your DPS pretty much infinitely. Conjured Ward keeps summons alive even in terrible scenarios and Matriach is your source of healing (Tormentor's ability to DPS for a DPS morph is horrendous, I'd use it if it were better).

Armor-based summons scale with the Mighty CP tree and psychical damage passives, all the Sorc summons only scale with Max-Magicka and their crit is the same as your crit.

Morkuldin and Maw of Infernal proc via light and heavy attacks, so I'd recommend Lightning/Healing staves as their channel counts as multiple ticks: they're quite easy to proc if you heavy attack a bunch as a result. Theoretically you can dual wield for another 5-peice item set, but it'll be a lot harder to proc these two sets. There aren't any other non-monster set summons outside Morkuldin anyway, so the only appropriate choice would be Necropotence but that'll only affect your Sorc Summons.

Trapping Webs was something I used to use in Dungeons, but since it only has the syngery to spawn spiders on a snared target and bosses can't be snared it was ruined for me: I almost never saw the spiders after that change so just dropped it. If they spiders were the base ability I'd 100% use that too. If I could get Summon Shade as a Sorc you bet I'd slot that!

I find it really fun, but it's not for everyone: you sacrifice a lot to have all those pets at once.

See if you can fit in Necropotence since all the sorc pets scale very well from max mag (including twilight heals). I think that would give more survivability than focusing on health.
May need engine guardian for your monster set pet for the recov.

With Empowered Ward (+mag regen) and lightning/healing staff heavy attacks to proc Maw/Morkuldin you're actually pretty much set with infinite magicka generation, I've found myself hard pressed to actually empty my magicka.

You're out of luck when it comes to Stamina though, in PvE it doesn't matter unless you spam block/dodge but in PvP it makes you very vulnerable when your Ward is down. No Ward = no life.
