How do I avoid this mechanic?

I just upgraded to gigabit internet. I can really see a change, but I am having trouble avoiding this mechanic in DSA.

It's most likely a bug with the combat mechanic the Boss you are fight in DSA.

Ask the tank to taunt the battlemage. But yeah, animation seems to be bugged.

Block when you hear the sound of meteor coming. The 8th round boss will drop on random player as well so you must block it or for dps it's a 1 shot typically.

They got killed by battlemage's melee attack, not Meteor.

I second the part about the tank, battlemages get taunt priority because they hit like trucks. But either way you should've been it coming to you to rek you and then you'd have a chance to block/dodge so guess the game lagged or something. I hope it wasn't a score run
