What's up with the Lower Case?

I haven't had much chance to play in the past couple weeks, so I may be late to the party on this one, but what is up with the lowercase on some items. It looks entirely weird and awkward to get Alchemical Resin and dragonthorn, or even worse the "rubedo leather bracers of Health" I just got where only a portion of the name is capitalized. This is just hideous, and I don't understand why such an unnecessary change was made.
