For those who think a AAA game with one of the biggest and best game lores of all time and best gameplay/immersion ever found in a MMO will die at its very climax because of a couple of nerfs.

Yes, they have made wrong decisions. But let's remember all the good perks of ESO.

Come on, guys! Try to compare ESO to the current MMOs in the market. We have better gameplay, better immersion, better storytelling, better customization, better visual/effects. Add it to the great ES lore...

Besides that, we are getting Battlegrounds for PvP players and HoF for hardcore PvE players.

Yes, I have this great passion for ESO and I keep this game and all my time spent in Tamriel with my characters in my heart. ESO has a great future ahead but you guys seem to want it to have a desire for its destruction. I can't comprehend why some players dedicate several hours of their lives and then prey for it to ruin...

Morrowind's gameplay is GREAT and I feel very happy playing it. Complaints are very good and make the game better, but chaos-conspiracy-theories are nothing but a desire of destruction. I'm not saying the changes are welcome, I'm saying that ESO has a bright future to come.

I can't wait to go questing. ESO really knocks that out of the park.

Well best of the 3 perhaps right now between guild wars 2 and black desert online, however eve is still really popular and the secret world remake will not take long at all.

    Then there is this,

    https://www.nerdmuch.com/games/5184/good-best-top-most-anticipated-upcoming-mmos-mmorpgs-of-2016-beyond/

Tons of interesting mmorpgs coming out.

Eso is good in many areas but keep in mind if people are not having fun with the changes then I guess we are not having fun are we? Hopefully it will not be as bad as people are making it out to be.

As a response to above. Yes, I think ESO's best point is questing and exploring. It has, by far, the best questing in the MMO market. And it's perfect to me.
Besides that, PvP and PvE are really great. I can't talk much about this because I'm not a hardcore player but I'm sure ESO delivers a really great experience at these points.

Definitely my favorite, but I hope they fix some performance issues and less obvious scumy business practices. Why cause I think it's the greatest game and I hope others see it too.

What makes me curious every time I read yet another of these threads, is WHO EXACTLY IS IT that is going around telling everyone the game is going to die?

I have never seen them. They never told ME about it.

I have seen posts by end-game raiders concerned that the sustain builds they are coming up with aren't much fun, I have seen concerns about class balance, proc sets, missing systems like jewelry crafting, and lots of other VALID FEEDBACK.

But as for this "sky is falling, game will end," I don't believe it exists.

This thread compares ESO to too small a class of games. Console MMOs now compete with PC MMOs for gamers' attention in equal measure, all the more so with ESO in particular with a heavy console population.

ESO combat is very different from, but by no means better designed than or more enjoyable than that of Dark Souls, Destiny, or Overwatch. The writing in ESO is extremely good, but it doesn't outclass that of the three aforementioned games, to say nothing of single-player masterpieces like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Dragon Age Inquisition, or Fallout 4. Graphically, the game leaves much to be desired on anything but a high-performing PC or the PS4 Pro with a 4k television.

My point isn't to counter your argument against the sky falling.

My point is to counter the implication that ESO is on par with--or outclasses--players' many, many alternatives.
