Off balance tank build

Hi guys as the title i would have a clarification about a thing that i have heaerd.
Is it true that bosses in trials can be set off balance? and if the answer is yes for you a build with 1h shield main bar and staff lightnening can be usefull to boost dps in trials?
(Blokade of lightening+ exploiter CP passive from atronach tree).
If you have any suggestion, tips about this post it here please would be much appreciated!

Blockade of Lightning should be run by healers, but yes, trial bosses can be set off-balance.

If you have some sorcs in the Group (or like 6 of them) some will run a Lightning staff, so the healers doesn´t really need to run it imo

Healers running Blockade of Shock is a DPS increase for the group. DPS running Blockade of Shock are losing DPS on one of their strongest DPS skills.

To add to this healers should be running the charged trait for higher uptime on off-balance, which is obviously not ideal for DPS.

In my experience healers never keep blockade up 100% of the time, especially on movement and mechanic heavy bosses (Twins, Rakkhat, Warrior in HM, Mage in HM etc.), so having someone else run it is more beneficial than not.

Running staff on backbar is not advisable on a trials tank because if you are caught there you will lack the block passives from 1H+S passives and the extra resistance from equipped shield.
