I'm Relatively new to ESO. I only have 6 days 15 hours logged which isn't that much for an mmo. My highest lvl toon is 37. I will say that ESO is the best action mmo I've played. I have never reached the lvl cap in an action mmo because they always get boring or it's some weird korean mmo with weird mobs and weird everything.
As far as the poll is concerned my answers don't fall within the poll. But here are my answers:
1. The fov should be increased.
ATM it's locked at 65 effective? I play at a default resolution of 1360x768 and it isn't very playable in 1st person which is how I played oblivion and skyrim. So to force a fov of 80 I use a custom resolution of 1508x692 which gives the same amount of pixels I think as my default resolution. However it's pretty ugly. There isn't much noticeable horizontal fisheye but I think there is some inverse vertical fisheye or something is off. It makes the environment more panoramic. To offset the ugliness I set subsampling to minimum and textures to medium everything else being maxed. It makes the graphics look like elder scrolls 3 but it is playable in 1st person. So there is a workaround but it would be even better if there were an effective 80 fov without the image being distorted (especially when you move the camera).
2. Animation canceling.
One reason why I like ESO is the fluidity of combat. However I read some threads and watched a video and some of the stuff regarding animation canceling looks silly. This is a problem(if you consider it a problem. There are people in the world who if they see a bird crap on Michelangelo's statue of David will say to the person who is about to clean the bird crap off "What are you doing? The bird crap makes the statue more difficult to analyse. I requires more skill to analyse the statue with the bird crap on it. Leave it be.") that goes at least all the way back to CS 1.5 or 1.6. People would quick swap with their awp to get a second shot off quicker instead of doing a full reload animation. The problem was fixed by putting a delay on when you could could bring the scope up again if you quick swapped instead on doing a manual reload making it take longer to get a second shot off if you quick swapped. Extending this idea to ESO if someone were to weapon swap to cancel an animation the GCD on that skill could be extended by 0.2(or some arbitrary number) seconds to offset any gains. Easier said that done of course because then you would need a clutch to switch between full cast before weapon swap and weapon swap canceling full cast animation and most people don't drive standards. And light attack animation canceling: I can't see myself healing a dungeon and putting a light attack in-between every one of my heals to boost group dps while at the same time doing channeled heavy attacks to keep my mana pool topped. If I have to do that I should at least get Sheogorath's fork to assist me.
3. Book log.
Seems very low priority but in the previous elder scrolls games I did read the books. A Dance in Fire was particularly good. In this game only lore books make it into your book logs. The other books you have to read on the spot and on the spot may be at a bookshelf with a respawning mob in a room of respawning mobs where you don't really want to hang around. You can't physically take a book from a bookshelf and put it in your inventory so there isn't really anyway to mark what you have and haven't read and it being an mmo the books you do read may be spread over a great length of time and if there is multiple volumes then unless you screenshot it it may as well have never existed.
4. Mages guild lore books
There should be some kind of direction to finding these books besides loading a mod which tells you where they all are. I happen upon them by accident and there placement is quite random across Tamriel. The last skill in the mages guild skill line looks quite strong but I don't want to load a mod then go from point to point.
5. Baseball
The game should have baseball in it. No reason it shouldn't. 3-way baseball.
