E-key stops working after most recent eso updates

I am using Razor Blackwidow and Ornata keyboards. I swapped one out for the other to see if the problem was with the Ornata. Both are wired. After a couple minutes play time the E-key stops working. That means no conversations, no loot, no interactions with the environment at all. I can use the ESC key to logout or quit. Sometimes I can get the E-key back but not always. After the most recent update of 5/9/17 the situation is worse. I would really like some feedback from Zenimax/Bethesda or if anyone else is having this issue. The game is totally unplayable. What is happening? Any assistance is most appreciated.

Pathfindr✭✭✭Does the E-key actually stop working, or is it just the visual prompt that stops working (as in you can still open doors if you press E, even if the game is not telling you to do so)?
