Health Regen on NB Wood Elf

sf37
sf37
My main character is a level 50 CP 130ish Nightblade Wood Elf that uses dual wield (daggers)/bow. I have equipped medium armor (various pieces, not a set, with a mix of health and stamina enchants,) as well as a 7th Legion necklace and ring (purple) as well as a Ring of the Ranger (purple.) I did have my boon as The Shadow, but yesterday changed it to The Warrior. I'm also level 10 vampire (I was initially vampire, then tried werewolf out, didn't like it much, so went back to vampire.) I have all 64 attribute points into stamina. My maximum stamina is around 21-22k, with around 1100-1200k stamina recovery. My maximum health sits around 11-12k, or 18-20k with food. My health recovery is only about 600-800. Is there any way to get my health recovery up, without sacrificing any of my maximum stamina or stamina recovery? Is there any way to up my maximum stamina as well? Do these numbers even need to be upped? What enchants should I have on my armor/jewelry: stamina or health, or just a mix of both?

I don't do PVP, I just group with one other person, who is a healer.

You really don't need health recovery outside of some very niche builds(mostly PvP ones, too). Even if you were to, say, use all health regen enchants and maybe get, Idk, let's be optimistic and say 1.5k health recovery, that's 750 health every second. Even using a resto staff on a stamina build(please don't do it lol) would probably heal you for more, and you'd be sacrificing a LOT of damage. Just ignore this stat and get some self heals, I think one of DW skills has it, also Vigor from Alliance War skill tree is a great stamina based heal(I know you said you don't PvP but it doesn't take that long to get and it is really good).

You should have weapon damage enchants on your jewelry, at least until Morrowind hits. You want your health somewhere in the 17-20k health area with food, so use health enchants if needed to get it there and stamina for the rest. Also, best Mundus for dps is currently Thief.

Your maximum stamina seems kinda low....oh. No set pieces. Yeah that'd explain it xD Try to get someone to make you some set gear if you can't craft yourself, I'd suggest Night Mother's Gaze/Hunding's Rage. If you're pc na I can craft for you. Well, or level up to cp 160 and get set gear then so you don't have to worry about re-making it as you level up.

Thank you so much for the helpful advice, as well as for the offer to craft (I'm PS4, however.) I will change my Mundus to Thief next time I play. It sounds like for the most part, I can get by until CP 160, when I'll pick up one of the sets you mentioned and equip those. I don't PVP, but I have managed to unlock the Alliance War skill lines, but am not sure if I can purchase any of the abilities within them. Thank you again for your help!

Good luck:) A good jewelry set (for when you hit cp 160) is Agility, you can buy it off other players if you have some gold, on pc it goes for like 10k a piece atm I think.

For PvP, you need a certain amount of ap(kind of like PvP xp) in order to unlock skills there. Each next skill requires more ap. Vigor is like...3rd or something now I think? So you would likely need to do some PvP to unlock it, but it's not too bad and who knows you might even like it ;) You get ap for killing players, healing players, repairing walls/doors, defending/taking resources/outposts/keeps, completing daily quests such as "kill X DKs/capture castle Y/capture/scout resource Z" and even get some for completing the purely PvE quests in towns.

Thank you again! I'll definitely explore PVP more, then. :)

It's really hard to go vampire and have high health recovery. Did you take the passive that lessens the vampire health recovery penalty?

Men are but flesh and blood. They know their doom, but not the hour.

First, CP 10-160 is a hard time to get any stats good really. I'd advise just doing cadwells silver and gold with inferior equipment until you reach 160.

When you get to 160, Find a 5- piece (or two) that has a heal over time on it. Lots of people like 7th legion, but after farming a fill set I realized it's kinda "meh". I use Briarheart, and have an unbuffed crit of 70%, (Thief Mundus w/7 Med Divines) so that helps a lot to get a small heal basically every time I crit (kinda like having a 5-piece with crit surge on it). In addition I also find the weapon damage increase superior to 7th legion because I can count on it 100% b/c NB can crit basically whenever they want. It is a lot harder to farm, though - you can't solo Wrothgar Bosses, lol and good jewelery is extremely rare. But don't even start the grind for it until you are CP 160 b/c you'll have to do it all over again at 160.

Another person on the forums recommends Bahara's Curse for a good DD Heal. I don't like it, though. But I can see how it increases survivability, especially in a PvP group.

Bloodthirst and Blood Craze (Dual Wield morphs of flurry and rending slashes) are decent heals. Reapers Mark heals you if you kill enemy with mark on (huge heal btw). Killers Blade (execute) also heals. And best stam heal is Vigor. It's worth doing some pvp to unlock it, even if you never go back to pvp again after.

Also shadow barrier passive will give you more resistances so you can take more hits, make sure you have points in that. Using Surprise Attack as your spammable (instead of DW Flurry/Bloodthirst) will keep that up.

Next major update Siphoning Attacks/Leeching Strikes will have a small heal to it....about the only good with that ability.

I definitely spam Bloodthirst, but I'll see how Surprise Attack works instead. I've had enough people tell me to use Vigor, so I will most definitely have to unlock that so I can use it. Thank you!
