Adding utility to AP

Just thinking of uses for AP other than weapon sets and armor.. what about AP options for skill/attribute resets, CP redistribution etc?

Any other ideas on how AP could be used more for convenience or cosmetics?

Perhaps I'm threatening crown use for such and its true that gold isn't hard to accumulate but it would provide something else for AP to be used for.

What you suggested is already a brilliant idea so I don't know what to say.

Maybe adding more potions to Cyrodiil vendors and increasing their cost? Speed pots, detec pots, invisible pots, unstoppable, ect.. But of course make them just 30 seconds so crafting potions remains stronger while giving new players a way of staying competitive without having to spend gold in potions.

This ^, AP should be account wide by now. But that's only AP, PvP ranks should be tracked per each character.

Pvp ranks should come with a small perk or something to encourage more pvp and Pvp progression would feel more rewarding, as far as ap goes I wouldn't know what to do with it but I feel the rewards never change and ap is really only good for the golden vendor.

Tbh AP should be account wide. Having around 7m AP spread out around 6 characters. So having it account bound would be awesome. Now as for what we can spend our AP on. Yea we have monster sets and potions and open world RNG bags but and our usual PvP stuff for taking keeps. So having more diversity to use our AP would be a bonus. I'm sure there are people who have 50-100m AP just sitting there collecting dust. I know my 7m just collects dust.

A lot of ranks have a dye associated with them. I know some people really get excited over new dye colors.

It's too bad they sold the Alliance War Mount in the crown store; it would have been a good perk for reaching rank 30 or thereabouts.

Maybe they could make a set of "officer" styles for each alliance--really cooling looking. Only make them available from a special elite vendor for AP -- if you are Major or above. They could come up with other ideas to add to this vendor, but the main point is, this vendor will only talk to you if you are a "senior officer".

Make sense to me.

Would just like to see more uses for AP that are less RNG based grab bags.
Rewards for the worthy could also be more useful but that's a different story and been discussed before.
