Streak still broken

I was just testing it... had a few instances, at Bleakers, where I was rooted after streaking and nothing I could do would get me out... very frustrating.

The reason I bring this up is because of today's patch notes:

• Bolt Escape: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs could fail to function in certain locations.

Was there ever an occasion where streak would fail to move you? Are you sure it isn't a guy using an ice staff to immobilize you from range? when you say nothing can get you out, I'm assuming that includes rolldodge? Are you able to link to a video created either by you or another player that shows the issue in more depth? can you get a screenshot of your character sheet while you're under the phantom immobilize? Does the chracter sheet show anything when this immobilization occurs? Was this while you were in combat or out of combat?

What? The bug is there, streak causes it, it was supposed to be fixed, it obviously hasn't.

Indeed, Streak is still broken.
I'm still getting stuck in narrow passages when using streak.
Examples:
1) In the narrow passages at the bridge between Alessia and Sejanus, Cyrodiil.
2) In narrow passages in resource or keep towers(Cyrodiil) & narrow passages in general.
3) When using it near a gatehouse after the gate has been taken down by siege weapons(when entering enemy keep).

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_GinaBruno Please fix it.
There were only 2 code fixes in the last patch and you failed to fix the streak, it means that 50% of the code you have implemented didn't solve anything

Why am I not even remotely surprised that a fix actually broke a lot more, and fixed nothing?

This was a serious question. When it comes to issues like this, sometimes a fix only corrects part of an issue in some scenarios but not the entire thing. It would be helpful to know what sort of impact the fix we published yesterday had, and if you all are seeing any improvements. Replies like this aren't helpful in assessing the issue at hand.

This response is one of the reasons developers don't listen to us. Why not just answer the question and help them in fixing the issue rather than being sarcastic and unproductive in fixing this? You're just wasting Ginas time for nothing.

In my experience last night, it seemed less. However, let me state that because of the nature of the issue itself I have been far more careful in game play with Streak for awhile now. I'll try to break that habit tonight and just go to town and see what happens.

Sorry guys but streak has been added to the cloak fix cycle. i.e. lots of 'fixes' that don't fix it.

The way to really fix something like this is to have someone actually playing the game the way the customers (we) do. They say they have testers etc. But unless they are on the live server playing in a guild during prime time hours and really recording everything that happens? It's almost never going to be fixed. The customers shouldn't be the ones providing the videos and information to the extent that we already have, and then NOT get it fixed.

I'm no software programmer and I'm sure they're all very smart people. But I do work in customer service where my product is in some cases the lively hood of the customer. It's my job to get down to the root of the issue and even include engineers if needed. Our company wouldn't progress without the technical folks to fix the broken stuff. When you provide a service your product should work as described (or intended). This one often does not.

It shouldn't be that much of a burden to get on a toon and play with a guild running PvP and in their comms looking for these bugs. Devs might learn a few other things about gameplay too. I'm sure my guild leaders would be thrilled to have them along and really see what the game is capable of. Might even help when making overwhelming changes like our current PTS.

So yeah, Koolio has a right to be upset.

With the revenue coming from the Crown store focus of the new ZO$, I'd hope they would divert resources from Marketing to development and coding. Doesn't seem like that is the case, sadly.

I've seen ZERO improvements in the streak bug. It still occurs on uneven terrain, in keeps on stairs, through doorways and on walls. In resource towers. Same BS different day.

Right, I'm not familiar with the streak ability, as I mainly play nightblade. So please, enlighten me about this issue. Don't just say there is a problem but fail to actually describe what it is. juse went and created a sorc on the PTS. been using bolt escape around for a while in PvE.

Is this issue only prevalent on PvP? IS it only with streak, or can the other versions of the skill also have this disable?

Could this phantom immobilization be because streak set you in the air? so you have to fall to the ground first?

Wait, is the issue that streak doesn't apply the forward momentum to the character? so that on uneven ground, if you end up in the air above the ground, you get a brief moment of "falling" where you cannot perform any actions? But since it removes all of your momentum it essentially has you "hang" for a brief moment?

There are a couple bugs w chains they still aren't affected by siege shield (on live) and the other one where you need to channel a heavy before chaining. Is there more? :O

Right, so, with this streak bug. is it only in effect during high latency? Is it only there when there are many people around you? Does it only happen while you're near a high ledge that could easily kill you?
