Gothiscandza, An Old International Guild in a New Game, is Recruiting

Literally "Gothic Frontier," Gothiscandza is a gaming guild established a number of years ago by a small group of real-life friends. Most of us Goths (think Ancient Germanic, not Pierced Emo) have done hardcore raiding at some point in the past, but have settled in to a more casual mode as we balance our gaming with our professional and family lives. Our defining characteristic is that everyone in the guild knows at least one other member outside of the game. In order to keep it that way, we recruit other groups of real-life friends, couples, or long-time online gaming friends. Recruits don't have to know any of us, just each other--and there's no strict face-to-face requirement, just a friendship that endures outside the confines of the game. While it may seem like a technicality at first glance, this dynamic has proven effective over the years in maintaining both end game viability as well as an atmosphere of real kinship.

April 2017 marked the beginning of the Goths' ESO presence. Not all of us play every game we move to as a group, and ESO is no different. We started with about ten people who at the time of this posting range from casual couple-days-a-week pve gaming and levels in the 30s, to daily questing and dungeon-crawling with 200+ CP and an eye toward pvp. We are looking for new blood to join us in exploring the game and conquering everything it has to offer. Newcomers to ESO are welcome, since that's what we all are too. Veterans are welcome also, offering interested parties an opportunity to help guide a group of experienced raiders toward maximizing our combined potential in a friendly, first-name-basis atmosphere. Our current demographic is mostly North American, hence the NA server, but we have representation in Europe and Asia and include people who work odd shifts, so we welcome those in all time zones to keep a balance in activity around the clock. Most of us are over the traditional gaming age with professions and/or family. We have no defined requirements, so if you think you and your associate(s) might make a good fit, contact me in game by whisper or mail @anagyth with your introductions, questions, and/or requests for invite. The Goths look forward to adding a few more friendly tribes to our fold.

Thank you,
