Character Switching via Homestead

We have these awesome homes now, right? What if we could access a menu in them that let us directly load into another character without logging out to character select?
The amount of characters we log in and out of is only going to increase for many of us, so wouldn't eliminating half the logs be a smart thing to do?
I would also like to see the merchants and bankers offer the same services that other stationary merchants and bankers provide when placed in your homestead, like repairing and access to guild bank & store.
And while you're at it, go ahead and increase the furnishing limit on notables by about 200. I would love to make fantastic rooms like were featured in the contest, but doing so uses half to all of your furnishing cap, especially when books are involved. Unless you want to have a few awesome rooms and some bare ones, going all out on one room/area isn't really something you want to do.
