looking for a Altmer (High Elf) Battlemage/Spellsword build

After watching the cinematic trailers for ESO, I really want to make a character like the female High Elf in those trailers. Not sure though how to go about this as I am not very good at "Character Builds". If anyone could please help me out that would be great.

Unfortunately due to the mechanics of the game hybrid damage dealers don't work.
If you want to be hybridish... Dumner (dark elves) are the way to go.
Dumner make excellent Dragonmages and Magikca Nightblades. (Fire damage based)
I run two swords on my Dumner Dragonmage so I have access to two 5 sets and a Monster Set.

Magikca Nightblades while typically using Destruction Staves, Have a lot of Melee ranged magical weapon skills.
Actually I think High Elf Magicka Nightblade will give you the feel you are looking for It is just all their skills will be Magicka based with shadow blades.
