I tryed to make essence of weapon power potions, but they kept turning into essence of stamina. Logged out and back in and also tryed on multiple characters with the same result. I even tryed putting them into the bank then logging onto a different toon and they were still essence of stam. Heres a video I recorded to see what happened.
