Any way to direct the launcher to install somewhere else post-install?

RESOLVED: I would delete this question, but I don't see a way to do that. I figured out how the launcher likes things to be organized, and decided to go with that. Previously, I had it set up like:
d:\The Elder Scrolls Online
d:\The Elder Scrolls Online PTS
I now have it set up like:
d:\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online
d:\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online PTS
d:\Zenimax Online\Launcher
Now when I run the launcher, it sees both my Live and PTS installs and doesn't prompt me to reinstall. I guess the launcher wants the main directory to be nested inside of a parent directory (Zenimax Online in my case). I never ran into this before, but I didn't typically use the launcher to play the game anyway; I always launched the executable directly.

Hi, I've not played since around Oct. 2016. I am using Windows 10. I had the game installed to d:\The Elder Scrolls Online, which is my SSD for games. I never uninstalled the game when I stopped playing. Inside that directory is (folders in bold):
...depot
...game
...Launcher
...uninstall
...vo_en
...zosSteamStarter.exe
...ZosSteamStarter.version
I do not use Steam for ESO. I thought about possibly coming back, so I ran the launcher this morning and let it update. When I came back later to check on it after it finished, I found a new folder inside the main directory. The launcher apparently created a new install directory nested inside of the original. So now I have a directory named The Elder Scrolls Online along with the other directories above. Inside that new directory are: depot, game, vo_en. The launcher basically redownloaded everything and nested it inside of the already existing directory. So it looks like this:
d:\The Elder Scrolls Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\depot
d:\The Elder Scrolls Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game
d:\The Elder Scrolls Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\vo_en
I now have two of each of these directories: depot, game, and vo_en. This basically doubled my install size. I guess I could delete the old files and leave it nested, but I'd rather not have it nested like that. I figure that if I copy the new files and replace the old files with them, and then delete the nested folder, the launcher will likely just detect that everything is missing and redownload it all again. Can I tell the launcher somehow that my game is installed at d:\The Elder Scrolls Online? I'm not concerned about modifying the registry if it's in there.

EDIT: I found this in the registry. Can I just change the install path to d: or is there a better way to do it?
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Zenimax_Online\Launcher]
"InstallPath"="D:\\The Elder Scrolls Online"

I don't believe you can or if you can it's magic beyond my knowledge.

Your best bet would be to copy to core game files, start a new install and throw them in there so it skips part of the download (if that still works).

That is sort of what I ended up doing. I downloaded the installer from the account page and started a new install to see how it liked the folder hierarchy to look. I then stopped it, copied my existing files into the correct locations, and then started the launcher. I believe it was able to see my existing files and fill in any gaps. I used to have ESO and ESO PTS directories off the root of the drive, but I think I actually like it the way it is now with there being a Zenimax Online directory and ESO and ESO PTS being under that.
