Is it possible to have restoration staff as second weapon for a stamblade ?

I would like to whether it is possible to equip Bow or DW or 2H as main weapon and a resto staff as second weapon ?
I am guessing the resto staff heals will be weak arsed since I am a Stam blade and my attribute points will be in Stamina alone.
Am I right or has anyone played around with a setup like that ?

Basically this. The higher level you get, the worse your stats are balanced by scaling and the worse your restoration staff will work. Some folks out there use odd sets to gerry-rig a build to use magicka and stamina spells a bit more effectively, but it will devastate your dps to build like that.

The skill you are looking for is Vigor. you get it from playing PVP
2H also has the skill Rally (Momentum), That is a great heal and bonus damage.
Alternatively you can avoid damage with Shuffle medium armor skill.

I kind of know the feeling of wanting more magicka on my Stamblade, there are skills like Cloak, Magelight, Mass Hysteria and more niche ones like reapers mark, blur and shadow image. I really wish I could have the mageblade perma cloak .

You want vigor from AvA. And in high aoe situations either morph of Blade Cloak can be helpful.
