Why does the Golden always sell the same trash??

So... I don't know how many times I've seen Stygian, Senche, Dreugh King slayer etc - but it's old and boring. How about sharing some love for the rest of the sets??

Spell Power Cure? Spinners? Spriggan? Even some trial stuff would be nice too...

And why the constant infused shoulder pieces?? Do people actually buy them?? Infused shoulders are probably the second worst trait (behind Training)... Heck, I'd even take prosperous over infused shoulder pieces!! So they give you like an extra 100 of your desired resource... whoopy-te-do-dah!! TRASH!!

If it's going to be PVP focused stuff, then give the PVE crowd their own version of the Golden... Have them appear in a secret location or something each week - like a treasure hunt!! Have people running around looking for him

Have any of the 1T and imperial city sets ever been for sale at the golden vendor? Not the helm/shoulders. They have been on the list. I'm just wondering if the jewelry added in 1T and Imperial City were just left off the list for some reason. Never have I seen spriggan, spell power cure, leeching, etc. I may be wrong, but the only jewelry I've ever noticed has been the original sets and renamed versions of those original sets. After 6+ months of potential items, it's too many times to simply be coincidental that none of the newer jewelry has ever dropped on that list.

Errr... last time I checked, gold Spell Power Cure rings (and the others I named) are NOT available in Gold - no matter how good you are, or how favourably the RNG gods look down upon you... Just food for thought...

The Golden is just a blatant example of how they can't balance PVE and PVP simultaneously, and how having an official example of the game's RNG habits makes most people less enthusiastic about the system used.

Adhazabi Aba-daro may as well just sell the bucket and broom every week.

Agreed, I don't think SPC and Leeching will be in the Golden loot tables since it's DLC.

Spriggan's and Spinner's, since they're just overland sets, are ... but RNG so far has been unkind ...

Of the 62 jewelry pieces offered since they swapped over from VMA trash gear in October of last year, not a single piece has been from a new set released in 1T or from Imperial City. That's a bit more than bad RNG. That's an astronomical improbability if those sets are actually on the list and just not showing up due to RNG.

RNG can literally say no forever. Also Gold accessories isn't a thing anywhere else.

Why isn't there jewelry crafting? It makes me feel unloved. Where does it come from if it isn't crafted by anyone? It just drops from the sky via meteorites dropped by aliens who birthed it from their colon or something?

Could use 100 keys and still not get what you want.

Veledreth, Chudan, Lord Warden, Molag Kena are all DLC - but all have been available from the Golden as helms/shoulders

Overland/Dungeon - shouldn't matter I don't think. Ebon and Worm are dungeon sets and both have been included at some point. (wish the Ebon neck would show up too...).

I think the other person has it right - they've just been too lazy to change the loot table on the Golden since 1T hit... so, he sells only trash that people either already have, or don't want.

Because for some unexplained reason only the OLD overland sets ever show up on the golden. Warlock, Senche(used to be skirmisher).

You will never see Spriggan rings, Spinner rings, plague doctor, etc.

ZOS seems very allergic to responding to any posts about loot tables. I have been trying to ask them why Wrothgar gear, (Pariah, Briarheart, Trinnimac) doesn't drop in either impen and sharpened but to no avail.

I am really getting sick of their lack of communication.

Yeah I can see this point, and the others like it. However the golden vendor in it's current format is just worst. At least imo, unless you are only looking for those golden gear.

At least doing the content I can get upto 48 chances at the shoulder I want per a day. This is without doing the DLC pledges. (4 keys for 12 characters for a total of 48 keys.)

IMO anyone's chances is supremely higher getting the gear via content rather then sit all week waiting for RNG vendor to sell it. (Except for gold jewelry) That's all I'm saying.

It's infused shoulders because ZOS decided that infused is the PvE trait. Indeed infused helms are ok, but ZOS obviously just didn't add another layer of code when shoulders are up. So they just rotate the items but the trait remains fixed. Same reason why you don't ever see divines.

48 keys per day? That's 24 vet, hard mode, dungeons each day... Taking into account the average time for that would be 20-30 minutes per dungeon (if you have an awesome group and doing near speed runs for each place) - that would be 12 hours pure dungeoneering... not including time for inventory control, repairing, regrouping and switching toons...

How would you have time to do anything else?? LOL!!

Incidentally, I had 117 keys on my main toon a few days back and was looking for a Sturdy Blood Spawn for my second tank (Arm Cops, but would have taken Pauldrons)... It took me 98 keys to get the shoulder piece I needed lol...

By your calculations that's 24.5 hours of SOLID dungioneering in vet hard mode to get the ONE piece I needed... lol. We definitely need a token system for dungeons, where we can accrue them each time we complete it (or killing a boss) and can purchase the items we need if it hasn't already dropped in our farming

Necro was on the vendor a week or two ago. They seem to rotate it just fine.
