How is your reroll to Sorc going?

There are groups with NBs, well, with all the classes raiding fairly competitively and anyone can do well in PvP on any class if they know how to play it.

Skill is the first requirement for good dps.

I think a lot of people try to hold off rerolling for as long as possible. Nobody really wants to. But at a certain point, it is very clear the direction the developers and there is no hope for class balance.

As for my sorc... it's still lv20, where it's been since I stopped playing it last year. Did get my first templar to 50 this past week, though.

First toon I made when I grabbed the game was a high elf mag sorc. Has and always will be my first love, but I have found myself cheating on it with a stamplar as of late. I have all other classes stam and mag so for me it's just a matter of how I feel that day not picking picking what the fotm. TBH I really hate that this is such a copy cat game. Be your own person!

Well it's nowhere close to that point yet. Maybe for some people who never mastered their class or created a build for themselves but if you put in the time and love you'll be fine. Yes, this is a case of L2P.

Yeah it just kinda sucks that devs pigeonhole you into playing their favorite class while nerfing the living hell out of all the others.

I have had a mag sorc since 3 weeks after console launch & a stam sorc since wrothgar launch.... no re rolling for me - just grinding gear... always grinding gear!

I'm quite content with my eleven alts and my ability to switch to whichever class I like whenever I like to do whatever I feel like in this game, even when that's just running a metric crap ton of crafting writs. I look forward to getting a few more with Morrowind of the bear variety.

I'm kind of the same way. Just not going to worry about it and surf the zerg.

I am really glad everyone will reroll to sorc easy to kill in pvp. On NA pc there are four good sorcs the rest just ap bags. No more heavy armor block tards.

Yeah the bsw nerf is killing me right now, but I will adapt and find something else. Doesn't matter what they buff and nerf though, people need to learn to adapt to what is dealt. I still have my backup set I use for vma that isn't meta that works well in pve.

Been exclusively MagSorc since day 1 of console. Remained one since they were complete garbage all the way to know where they are on the stronger side of things.


Gonna have a lot of fun with mass influx of ppl rerolling to MagSorc in PVP. Easy kills is an understatement.

It's easy to tell the players that jumped on the bandwagon and copied a youtube FOTM build rather than took the time to learn the ins and outs of their class and test different builds.

I don't "reroll" - whatever that means - based on what's cool now, or the next patch. I have set out my strategy straight from my first 3 months playing - have at least one magicka and one stamina build for each class. My characters are all long time projects, and I plan on leveling them all in time, and spend 200+ SP on them. I don't see them as expandable containers, bearing in them the "flavor of the month". Each of them has multiple possible builds and can fill at least two roles, some of them even all 3 with minor adjustments. I only do slight changes like skill morph change and CP reallocation whenever a patch hits and I find it quite inefficient to delete and make anew or level more characters of the same class if they have very similar racial passives and attribute point allocation. In terms of gear I have most of what is or may become viable or BiS already farmed out by now, in best traits. I only farm to fill the gaps from time to time.
