Quick Question on weapon leveling

I would like to level 2H for unlocking Rally on my Stamblade.
2H has the following skills
Wrecking Blow
Cleave
Critical Charge
Reverse Slash
Rally
So far I have unlocked WB, Cleave and CC.
Q:
Will my 2H level faster if I keep these three abilities in my active weapon bar while turning over my quests
Or
it levels at the same speed even if I keep ONE of the 2H abilities (say WB) in my active weapon bar while turning over my quests ?

✭✭✭Yes it will level faster if you have more skills from its skill tree on your bar. It will also level if you don't even have the weapon equipped at all but do have some of its skills slotted(you obviously won't be able to use them but just for leveling purpose) but I think slower than with actual weapon.2
