Staff & Shield Combo

I would love to be able to use a staff and shield combination. Since staves only use one hand (despite being a two-handed weapon) to use that leaves our other hand available to hold a shield for extra protection. It would definitely help out us light armor users.

    Yep and it would make frost staff tanking more desirable. Make it happen ZoS.

    Or how about ZOS rebalances so the meta isn't incessantly drawn back to Staves? This tank player is sick of the thought of a heavy armor frost-staff tank. S+B needs to be more viable than it currently is, rather than the Plan B of tanking.

    Is sword and shield not viable for tanking now? Am I reading that right? or am I missing something, because I didn't thing front staff tanking was viable anyway.

    In the groups I've been running with, Frost Staff/Resto Staff is rapidly emerging as the new tanking meta, which makes me a bit ill, because holy sh*t, we don't need more frickin' staves.

    I will prefer S+B until the day I die, because I am an inflexible old man. (Which is partly what makes me such a good tank.)

    Just don't see the pros yet for frost staff.

    I can run 5 Piece lich, 5 Piece armor master, 3 piece lunar bastion and 1 monster set with s&b on both bars.
