So the title already says it - but I'll clarify more. I'm inside my Chateau, not the courtyard, but the actual building. I'm on the second floor. When you reach the middle of the second floor, there is overlooks on either side, looking down on the first floor. Well, working toward the Throne Area/Back of the main room, I used planks to build some makeshift scaffolding to hang out on.
Anyway, when I'm on these beams and walk towards the back wall of the Ebonheart Chateau (there is a structural arch, holding up the wall in front of me, right against the wall and roof a little bit - it starts to rain ash inside my house, and the lighting all changes to be outside lighting.
I am unable to replicate the bug on the first floor. This seems to be purely on the second floor. Maybe ZOS didn't anticipate I would build platforms there? I don't know, but it's obvious when I pass the Threshhold for the bug to occur because starts to change the lighting of the walls and stuff.
I did make a video, and the bug does happen in it, but at first I was having a hard time triggering it. Seems the lighting changes is 100% to occur right away, but there's a slight delay before the ash rain starts, about 5 seconds.

EDIT: Watching the video made me realize the ambient sounds of outside also start playing when passing the threshold.
