Stamina Nightblade Question

My bosmer stamblade just dinged 15.
My main will be Bow and I am currently on the lookout for a second weapon.

I will be mainly doing solo leveling via quests (no PVP or any group PVE content) till max level.

My thoughts

DW : Has a higher damage but I need to get two weps and I assume it will not have burst dmg like 2H ...Again I could be wrong.

2H : I heard it has a heal ability but that will be available only at 50 or something (not sure).
Is that heal ability from that 2 hander is good enough to level this weapon tree ?

1H/1S :
Has very good survivability and I believe there is even a heal in one of the abilities when attacked by an enemy caster.With shield 1H/1S i do not have to worry a lot when facing multiple mobs.


What do you guys recommend a second weapon ?

Dual wielder has 3 healing abilities. Twin slash more heals, Bloodthirst heals aND, the ultimate at level 50 heals. 2 handed has 1 health and it's rally. For me dual wield seems better for PvE while 2 handed seems better for PvP. I guess it comes down to whatever fits your playsTyler. Sorry I don't remember the correct morphs. Hopefully it's a Lil bit of help

I swap between 2H and DW as a stam NB. I usually run 2H because of rally, but you will not get it until later down the track because I think it's the last skill in the tree. I have run VMA which is solo content using 2H and bow. I found it easier to stay alive with rally when fighting harder bosses.

I like DW because it's quite powerful, but you'll need to use the heal morphs of some skills as suggested above to stay alive, and you'll need to get Vigor from pvp skills as well. I used to run bloodthurst morph of rapid stikes, which works well with vigor to restore health. With killer blade and mark target you should be able to heal through most things, but the downfall with those abilities is you need to kill enemies to restore health. So when you want to solo world bosses without someone to heal you I find it tougher on DW and would swap to 2H. It's fine though for killing mobs, you generally won't lose too much health and will restore fairly quickly.

There's also a set called vengeance leech which I used to use for soloing as it restored health stam and magical on every kill, and that helped a lot!

Best advice when leveling...level all skill lines. Use 2H, DW, Bow, and 2H. Heck even use Resto and Destro. Also wear a few pieces of light, medium and heavy armor.

You never know what changes will happen, or what you'll want to do with your build later. Having everything leveled will really help you at end game.

Also note, when you turn in quests, whichever skills/bar is active will be the one that gets the XP, so you can put a bunch of skills you don't use much on back bar and then swap to that on quest turn-ins to level them.

Reroll a Sorc, you can have 3 bars and no nerfs.

You should honestly just grind your way to 50. Then quest, collect books and shards on you way up the cp levels.

Dw+bow is best. Google entertaining people like alcast for rotation and what skills to focus on.

Duel wield is best for DPS in PVE although if you're casual 2H may suit you better because of rally. Although duel wield is much better imo.
