Beta invite but no PC

My friend who is not me just got an email with a beta code for Morrowind, however he doesn't have a PC and only ever played on Xbox. Could he borrow a friend's computer and play it? Would he have to buy the PC version of the game just to play the beta?

✭✭✭✭✭If your friend has a copy of ESO on his PC you should be able to play it there so long as you log into your account and choose the PTS from the launcher.
No idea if that's actually allowed or not though, I'm not a lawyer

✭✭✭✭✭Check to see if it will let you download the game and install the PTS. Console accounts can't usually do that, but I'd expect that the beta invite code would allow you to do so. Otherwise why would they be sending them to console players?
Of course I could be wrong and it could be that they didn't think that through.

✭✭✭✭✭I believe that Console players have always been able to play the PTS on PC. I know a few xbone fellows that test almost every release on pts but don't own the game for PC.

✭✭✭✭✭Theoretically you could not play on another friends system,because PTS on PC does require that you own the base PC game because while it may download, you would have to supply PC account log-in information......removed some stuff to KISS
Ideally, you wouldn't want to share machines but if its a secure and trusted method, just review the user agreements first and I believe that will lead you to the best answer.

Play ESO on PS4 here and as there isn't a PS4 or Linux PTS cannot participate, nor sign the NDA.

If you want to test the base game content you can log into PTS with either account.
