Maintenance for the week of October 5:
• [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – October 8, 8:00AM EDT (12:00 UTC) – 12:00PM EDT (16:00 UTC)
As is they are obtainable per character. The only things a character shares with other characters on an account are bank and housing and wardrobe. Leaving bound items out of the discussion.

Do you want to see mount/pack or skills or shards or quests made account wide? 146 votes
I would like to see bag and mount upgrades made account wide. shards not so much, and quests definitely not.
What I would also like to see made account wide is crafting research, currently crafting is not capable of producing top tier gear, so why not make research account wide and make it less tedious for alts.
No. None of it.
I like that the current system shows your dedication to a character in particular.
And I've played a Stamina Templar since open beta so I know more than most others how it sucks when your class/spec is *** and you just want to reroll to whatever is currently superior while still retaining everything you achieved. But if this was how it worked you would never feel invested in a character, since you'd just be jumping around on different characters for different activities while still having everything on all of them.
Yes to mount. I mean you can share the same mount on all characters so why can you not access said mount's stats?
I would be all for making it like it used to be and you need to level each mount you buy, and make each mounts stats sharable for account.
Motifs, yes ESPECIALLY if used crowns for it.
Recipes and blueprints etc would be nice too.
Achievements is another yes, I mean the dyes unlocked are account shared, so why not the achievements themselves too
Sounds like OP wants instant characters with basically everything on a new character leveled to the best character on the account. At least he's loaded the question to draw the most yes answers to skew the poll.
With all the in game gold many of us have spent on maxing horses and getting any shards and let's not forget about doing quests it would have a chilling effect on the game if they just started giving it to others like candy. Fortunately Zos has some sense to not go the way that seems to be suggested.
The only thing I'd like to see, but will NEVER happen...One week per year, one PVP campaign is altered, or added, so that those only interested in finishing skyshards, dolmens and quests have a chance without being ganked by hoards of (faction name here) killing us. Not everyone is cut out for PVP, but some of us would like to complete the basic PVE content of Cyrodiil.
"Such is the nature of evil. Out there in the vast ignorance of the world, it festers and spreads. A shadow that grows in the dark. A sleepless malice as black as the oncoming wall of night. So it ever was, so will it always be. In time all foul things come forth." -Thranduil
I've put so much in game gold into getting all my mounts maxed that it would be a real kick in the teeth for them to do this but skyshards, absolutely
What gold , the prices are so stupidly low its not even worth mentioning , picking up 1 plant per day covers it , its more of a hassle if anything else ...
Yes to all of it being shared except quests
LOREBOOKS. That's all I want shared thats it just that nothing more.
Well I wouldn't complain with mount lvls either but lorebooks please. Please they are slowly pulling a Molag Bal and taking my soul. Lol yes it a bit dramatic but you all feel the same.
Achievements. It's the only thing I really don't understand. If I bust my ass to do them with a char, I reaaaally don't want to do them again. Most other games have them shared and ESO already shares some achievement related rewards like pets and costumes, why not the rest?
I'd like achievements to be account wide, and maybe mount/pack upgrades but it doesn't bother me that they're not.
I absolutely do not want quests and shards to be account wide. I make new characters specifically to play through the game again on them, not to be told it's basically finished because I've done it on another character. That would ruin the game for me.

I have played mmorpgs that were annoying. I came from Final Fantasy mmo's! TESO is not annoying or tedious in comparison to that. I've run the very best f2p role player mmos and I like TESO's model except for the tough to play healer class.
The idea that each of your characters are an individual person experiencing the world so you have to see the world new thru each one's eyes is fine. But the immersion there is not right. I play with my alts. I'm an altoholic. And a rp'er. My alts play like they are a team working toward a goal. But it makes no sense from a rp'ing standpoint why each person has to relive saving Bleakrock or being the chosen one that saves the world. You have to swing the alternate realities angle to work it. Still I think I would be bored if I didn't have some goal for each. So I'll stick with no. But if zos changed this I wouldn't cry.
I'm fine with it the way it is or if it got changed.
