Here is a fun question to ponder. If you could leave our current dimension and live in the world of elder scrolls, would you? And as what class and race would you live as? Tell me how you would make your living

I'd go as a nightblade. Just cloaking away from people you're trying to avoid would be awesome. I'd be an assassin ofc.

Yes. Who wouldn't? I would be I high elf sorcerer. I would live in Belkarth and spend my free time exploring Craglorn. I would make my living through enchanting and some alchemy on the side.
Played for about 2 years on Xbox and did everything you can do (-emp).
    Still pretty new to PC-NA.

I would live as a nightblade wood elf. I would guard my forest with extreme prejudice. With the power of the forest and shadows at my disposal you would die before you even knew you were being hunted. And if I chose to venture out into the world the power of stealth would be my greatest ally. Gold and anything I could want would be mine for the taking. And any who stood in my way would die in thier beds a dagger across thier throat. And no one would even know I was there. Nightblade op master class.

When I think about a sorcerer I think spell casting and in the sense of warcraft, being a "guardian" of the realm. I know it's not like that in Eso but I like to think I'd play such a role and that would be my living :) Maybe be a crafter as a part time job too to earn some extra monies

I would choose to live in the third era of Tamriel, specifically about 3E 404.
This is when Daggerfall is in its prime.
The capital city is booming, and people are living their lives in relative peace before the events of the game. I would be a metalsmith there, and make my living sweating away at the forge creating magnificent sets of armor and weapons. My works would be worn by all citizens of every class, from the lowest guardsman to the highest noble knight.

After work, I'd path to the outskirts of the city where I'd have a simple but loving wife, and three children, in a spacious but humble cottage by a stream. It would be a quiet life, until one day when a curious adventurer stops by my shop and inquires about the prices of my best armor. I can see they don't have much in the way of gold, but they have such a fire in their eyes that I can't help but offer my services free of charge. I craft them the best armor and weapons in all of High Rock and send them on their way.

I start on my way home afterwards and soon find a pillar of smoke rising in the distance. I run as fast as my feet will carry me and find my beautiful cottage ablaze and my family outside, held to their knees by a group of bandits. I plead for their lives, offering what little gold I have in my pouch for their safety. The bandits take my gold and laugh at me, threatening my family if I don't find more to give. Hope almost leaves my eyes when I spot the adventurer climbing over a mound behind the bandits. Freshly-forged weapons in hand, the adventurer rushes in and makes short work of the bandits. I gather my family into my arms and thank my friend profusely for saving them. They say that no thanks are required, and that they were simply the arm swinging the weapon I had created. I give my gratitude regardless, and gather what belongings remain before parting ways with my adventurer friend and heading to the city with my family to find an inn.

We stay there for a fortnight before I have enough gold from my forge to place a payment on a small house in the city. As we move our belongings in, one of my children brings me a parchment with the weeks news. I take a moment to skim the headlines before reading "Hero Adventurer Brings Order to Empire of Tamriel" and seeing a sketched illustration of my adventurer friend, clad in my unmistakable armor. I bow my head and give thanks to the Divines for their help in guiding my friend to such a glorious victory before walking into my new home with my family in hand to start our new life together.

Pretty much the same thing here. I'd be an Altmer Sorcerer, who lived in Auridon. I'd make my funds through crafting and farming, and spend my idle time just mastering the arcane arts.

I wouldn't want to be in ESO for sure as I would be getting constant changes on my abilities and general mechanics like today it works like this and the next day it somehow changes with Wrobel written all over it.

Nope. I would hate to wake up one morning and found out I lost my skills or that my profession was nerfed making it difficult to earn a living. In addition, if I kill some monster, it just respawns. Nothing would have no meaning.

Not knowing what to do during the weekly maintenance times would be a little disorienting. Unless of course we could just go have a 4 hour coffee break or something. Perhaps some of the in game NPCs could chime on on what they do.
