What is the best Heavy Armor sustain set?

What do you guys think is the best all around Heavy Armor set that allows you to sustain resources (specifically stamina)? I know in the past it would probably have been Black Rose, but now that Constitution is getting nerfed, this set is going to be hit again. I predict there are much better Heavy Armor sets for sustaining resources. Any ideas?

Even before the nerf black rose was only a few hundred stam every 8 seconds, too slow for my liking.

Yeah I wasn't a big fan of it either. But there no good sustain sets for heavy it feels like.

Building sustain in heavy has some creative options but generally you could run a light sustain set like Lich, Withered Hand, Blood thorn Touch, Warlock, Desert Rose or Alteration Mastery on jewels or crafted heavy Seducer.

Stamina jewelry versions include Bone Pirate Tatters, Witchmans, Quick Serpent, VO, and Marksman among a few more.

Other sets include Mazzatun or Wyrd tree but you may find their utility to be niche.

Constitution restores every 4 seconds, not 8. After the nerf it's still around 700-800 stam and magicka every 4 seconds, equivalent to around 300-400 recovery that works even while blocking.

That amount is being reduced by almost 50% in morrowind, which I don't agree is a necessary change. You'll be forced to run black rose now just to make constitution worthwhile.

The best heavy armor sustain set is and always has been seducer. Black rose isn't bad either and it will continue to be strong next patch.

I'm telling you now, heavy armor is going to be even more meta next patch, but you'll have to exploit some crazy mechanics if you want to be able to sustain reliably. With no cost reduction a 50k resource pool is gonna last like 30 seconds or less.

ZoS is trying to nerf sustain for everyone, but they're just crushing the uninformed masses while good players have already started finding holes in their *** little plan.

Mazzatun is a *** to farm.

Specially if you need weapon.

Its unfarmable on vet so meaning blue jewelry. (and you need the jewelry if you still want to keep 5 heavy ...)

Aside from that, this set is "THE SUSTAIN" set ...

The + 300 stam on top of + 300 mag for a blocking mag build is ... Well ...

My pvp life changed since I got it.

Why unfarmable exactly? It takes 30 minutes to run vRoM with a proper group and if you are min-maxing enough to need that set you should know enough good players to run it easily.

I use it on my tank in PVE, the only reliable times it shows is in places like VDSA on the last boss when you tank all 6 mini bosses for your group to burn the boss. Just get a proper group together and farm both amberplasm/mazzatun, they are both good sets to have, even if it's just for bank storage. Now for PVP I think it will be very good, especially next patch. There will be better options though; that will have 100% up time.

Mazzatun is really bad because if you're dropping that low constantly you're doing something wrong in the first place. It gives you a nice boost once but after that is gone, it does nothing.

Because we r a pvp guild that think that pve is as fun as waching paint dry, that normal MAZ takes 10m top, (damn important when your doing hundreds of runs for Sharp weapons ...) and only diff is Blue jewelry.

So I used to run mazz, but the problem with all of the "under x hp" abilities is that unless things are going bad you won't proc it. On a good run it does nothing and you're better off running anything else. It looks amazing on an argonian though, almost makes it worth it.

Other issues with the mechanic: you have to get hit to under 30% so it does nothing if you get 1 shot, 7k is a nice heal but if you are under 10k to begin with you are probably going to get killed by adds or aoe.

I get the reduction in the constitution passive, heavy armor has the best of all worlds on live atm, what I dont get is the nerf to medium and light armor, specially medium armor wich is the weakest armor (except for pure ganking) and it did not need a nerf.

I cant think of a heavy armor set that is pure sustain apart from Blackrose and the crafted Seducer. But a few good light armor options to go with heavy armor is lich, amberplasm, syrabane and desert rose. Most of those are purely for magicka.
