A Request for the Quitters

So, it seems a bunch of players feel like they want to quit following the PTS notes posted recently. Well, I won't try to dissuade you, but can I make a request? It's a two parter:
1) Please stop announcing your intentions to quit and get on with it already. Nobody really cares. Not the community and definitely not the developers.
2) Please, Please, please post these two screenshots: The first should be your character screen as it is now. The second should be your character screen after you've deleted ALL your characters. If you're unwilling to do this then you're just running your mouth.
Can't wait for all those screenshots!

Why does it bother people so much anyone who has criticisms about the game? It is the forums everyone has a right to complain in general forum just as much as you, just take a break from the forums if its bothering you.

If nobody cares why have them provide screenshots? Also, I believe it is a good way to show ZOS that players are unhappy with the changes being made. If you developed a game, would you not care why your players decided to quit?

I get what your saying, but people should post their opinions, and they should announce they are quitting or unsub or cancelling pre-orders so ZOS can see that their decisions are negatively impacting their player base, and their wallet.

I know people who have genuinely quit. I know so, because they sent me their gold before deleting the game from their pc's

Posting opinions would be great, but announcing you're quitting isn't an opinion, it's a declaration of action and one they're not likely to actually follow through on, thus the screenshots. The point here is to elevate the discussion beyond the annual announcements of "I'm quitting/unsubscribing/boycotting" that always follows significant patches. As far as what developers think about any possible exodus? They likely anticipate a great deal of turnover amongst players and subscribers regardless, and so it's a toothless threat. To spell it out so there's no confusion:
I don't actually want to see people quit. The community is what makes the game fun to play. I'm just sick of 3 years of these threats in the face of obvious indifference to those threats from the developers. Quit overreacting is the moral of the story.

So you dont care but made a post about? Can you elaborate on how those correlate. I am in need of a better understanding of how mmo forums work.

Is blatant contradiction the norm? Im not judging I am generally curious I am new here.

It doesn't bother me that people criticize the game. The the "the sky is falling" attitude that seems to go around every major patch gets tiring after 3 years.

Also, from experience, the people that really quit do so quietly.

I disagree somewhat people quitting is a sign something may or may not be wrong and should be looked into, if allot are quitting especially well established gamers who have a good idea of whats going on then they should, what your wanting is for people to silence themselves if it bothers people do they can easily avoid I quit threads by not reading them no one has a right to tell them they should not express themselves.

Everyone should express themselves if they wish to quit just as much as people have a right to say can I have your stuff and etc.

HOWEVER people should not be quitting atleast until they see the rest of the patch notes it is way to soon to assume this is the direction they are going.

Or perhaps some people feel disillusioned, even disrespected. They find their enthusiasm for the game waning, and they don't want that to happen, because they love this game. They have their heart invested in it. They want the game to get better; but they see it getting worse (true or not). They're worried, rightly or wrongly, that something they love is being destroyed, and it distresses them.

So they lash out, threaten to quit, and hope someone is paying attention and might be moved to change things.

See, quit threads can seem really negative and toxic, but they actually often come from a good place. The same cannot be said of OP's post, which amounts to little more than sneering at people.

i'm not quitting.
but i'd like to see pages of posts quitters QQ/rage abt the game,
so that zos can lessen the nerfs or at least really give some buffs as compensation.

the game isnt too easy. vMOL isnt too easy, vAA vSO vHRC aint too easy. even vWGT vICP aint too easy.
heck PUGs are still getting wiped in nICP and nWGT!

i don't think giving only nerfs after nerfs without throwing us any meaningful buff is the right way to go

Yeah, while I don't care "if" they quit, I do care that I constantly have to scroll through their declarations anytime there's a patch that's controversial. It's a carpal tunnel issue. But, my second post addresses it more honestly

I've shelled out thousands on this game over the past 3 years.

I will say what I want, when I want, in any tone I want.

Why? I'm a customer that expects a premium product for my investment.

What if we only want to quit playing but not delete our account. Can I show an image of me not playing?

Nobody's sneering, just calling bs. There's nothing that says their intentions aren't positive either. The fact is that every year, with each major patch, a wave of people declare they're going to quit, which, judging by the fact that there continue to be controversial patches and the game continues to grow, are ineffectual. This post is nothing more than a tongue in cheek way of pointing that out. Again, quit overreacting. It's all going to work out.

I find this great. This person is upset at the eso community for comming onto eso's chat forum and expressing their dissastifaction with the direction of the game. His reason, hes sick of scrolling through the comments.

I will take a break from the game, if it goes live like this, possibly a very long break, but why the *** should i delete all of my stuff, that's just stupid. And no don't even ask, i won't send you *** procure it yourself if you want it so badly.
