Underwater environments and gameplay.

I'm wondering if ZoS has any plans for this. I don't necessarily think the game suffers without it or anything but I do think that it would make the world seem more complete. Just a random thought. Figured I'd share.

Because an 8 k shield is f ing useless. Died because of baddies on the forum. Too much qq too little pew pew. 16 AD 2 DC. 0 EP cause they bad, CP 2300 plus 18 level 50 toons. NA, PC, Grey Host#SORCLIVESMATTER actually they don’t or they wouldn’t keep getting nerfed constantly.

    Hated underwater combat in WoW. Melee could NEVER stay in range...and there's the whole possibly drowning thing. No Thanks.

    So based off one bad experience your going to hate it? Try to be open minded give guild wars 2 under water combat a try it is quite good even though it needs to be rebalanced.

    Ok for example The Secret World is being changed to Secret Legends, the same game engine but the new publisher is changing combat and illustration to make the game 100% better, just like Skyrim remaster using the game engine from Fallout 4.

    I seriously don't know why they decided on an engine that made jumping, underwater, climbing and mounted swimming impossible or at least very very awkward. Moving around the world is the one thing you do even more than combat in an MMO, so shouldn't it be a fun experience?

    the developers start talking about adding it around an hour and fifteen minutes. Nothing about the game engine being 100% incompatible was ever mentioned. It is a theoretical discussion however.

    Underwater levels, one of the things most (platformer) gamers hate.
    I'm extremely allergic to those.

    I enjoy a good swim and I won't have any problems breathing and swimming underwater, considering I play mostly with Argonians, but no, just no. Just add a nice farming area with small areas you have to swim to.

    it would be pretty awesome if they would add underwater content similarly as it was in Skyrim, but the devs said earlier, that there is some problem with the game engine, which makes it not possible to add it. hopefully in the future they solve it and add this!

    When it comes to programming, NOTHING is impossible. If you can dream it, it can be programmed. There is such a thing as infeasible, however, where the effort/manhours it would take to program far outstrips any value it could bring about. That is where both underwater content and flying mounts lie.
    The generally amicable yet sporadically salty magplar that may or may not have 1vXed you in Sotha Sil. Who knows?

    Coming from the single player Elder scroll games to ESO, the inability to dive, and explore underwater was to me the most surprising absence.

    Underwater combat does not sound fun to me, I imagine it could become frustrating quickly...unless I could kill Slaughter fish. I would much rather have an invisible wall restricting my exportation efforts than Slaughter fish spawning around my character.
