Has anybody ever in eso history made 1 billion gold like they had so much gold they could make me a millionaire just because they could or has anybody come close to it just curious

I'm sure I once heard of someone reaching the cap on either the bank or character and having to then divide it across the account.

Could have been myths and lies though.

I'd imagine the leaders of some trading guilds and alleged secret nefarious guild alliances would have that much. I could be wrong though.

Play on PC, join five top trade guilds, spend all of your time trading (visit every merchant, buy low sell high) and you'll do it.

That will just be the only gameplay you see.

that is the only downside. My brother plays a game for 10 years now that lets you pay out the ingame gold into your bankaccount. He makes a thousand euro a month playing and never leaves the ingame bank.

Many members of the best trading guilds have 20+ mil, and a few have 200+ mil, so I am sure 1 billion gold could be amassed if there was a guild-wide attempt to do so.

The average max level player sits around million + . It's not even that hard especially without a transmorg you will run out of stuff to buy. If you truly enjoyed trading aspect of the game I am sure you could make the billion market... but would you ever telling anyone?
