Recording game Voice chat Xbox one

My topic here is about recording the in game Voice chat. When ever I double tap the center button to start a recording it'll record the in game music and sounds but not other people's voice. It'll just show the little icon on the bottom right that appears when someone talks. Does anyone know of a way to capture the voices of people either with a setting or another device?
If it's another device could you name what it's called or link it. If it's a setting can you explain how to toggle it on or off.

You need a game capture card and pc to do it. Using the xbox dvr you'll never ever get it.

Wait so if I get a game capture card and a pc I will be able to record the voices from the xbox or are you saying it can only be don't on the pc version of the game

Yeah just look up elgato game capture card and read up on it. Any YouTube video you see where XBL audio is captured etc is done using this. It's easy to do. Will require one huge HDD for recording though. It does just take it in full 720p so you'll probably need some editing software like the Adobe one (free if you create a new email every 30 days and refresh the trial period ) to cut down the videos and compress etc.

Really not sure tbh, but a friend of mine records BF1 all the time and it pulls through the game chat audio AND also XBL chat. I think you just run all audio through the PC and it takes it regardless of the channel used.

So basically you need this item in particular and you plug your XB mic lead into it and it takes anything that comes in and out via the headset.

But it MUST be the HD60 as others do not have the jack input.

That's the game DVR and it's limited in what it will record. Developers have the option to disable features the DVR can pick up, including chat, music (thanks, RIAA, you bunch of [self censored because mods are everywhere), and other features.

There is a new feature called "Beam" on the XB1 if you've updated to the recent Dashboard.

Near the bottom of the icon list (left side), you'll see what looks like a satellite icon. This is the button to start Beam.

First, you'll need to launch the game.
Then, click the Beam icon. First time usage will require a setup process, but it's easy and quick.
In the settings, you can record everything, including in-game chat.

Note these recordings are not saved on the DVR, but on the Beam's website. Like anything else, you can set the video/stream to private, friends only, or everyone.

I've only tested this with Dishonored 2, but keep in mind not all games can be streamed with Beam. If you try to start Beam with ESO and it gives you an error, the game has been blocked.

As a caveat: if you intend to record your stream, be aware recording people without their consent may violate state and local laws, since you're specifically directing your question at recording other players' chats.
