I think everyone has been overreacting lately and only has their tunnel vision locked only on what they want to see.
First off, Combat and Sustain has been broken since before One Tamriel. Since the announcement of Morrowind, you can conclude that they have been working on fixing combat since then and even before then. To say ZoS hasn't been listening is completely dumb to say. There are plenty posts complaining about Major Mending and min/max smh builds with unlimited sustain.
Second, these changes look bad on paper for some, but a complete overhaul is in progress to the combat and champion system and it won't just end with Morrowind. Will things still be broken after this patch? Of course, but I envision greater things for the combat system soon.
These changes weren't made at random and some were made to make the game not so easy mode for people anymore. I hate when people say that these guys don't listen when in fact they have all our character data to come to some of the conclusions and decisions they have made. At the end of the day, the combat system is still just a huge math crunch that is attempting to be equal on both sides.
Like your parents used to say "Try it before you say it's bad." No one has played this out yet and there is still two months and a closed beta between the launch of Morrowind. I'm not jumping ship because there's a storm in the horizon.
